How to Get Rid of Negative Energy from a Romantic Relationship Gone Bad

Negative Energy from Romantic RelationshipsIncreasingly, I hear from people who have had a romantic breakup, complaining about bad energy leftover from the relationship. Not infrequently, the person who contacts me has a distressing and obsessive fixation on the previous love interest, even though it was an unhealthy and damaging relationship.

Notwithstanding the important psychological aspects of romantic obsession, a romantic union—emotional and sexual—is not just about an attachment between bodies and personalities, but is equally about auric, energetic entwining. In other words, it is about the entanglement of spiritual energy.

While the psychological aspects of obsessive fixations and thoughts certainly need to be taken into account, this is an article that deals with spiritual energy entanglement which is a very important factor since it is rarely recognized and always present. While a brief article can only contain a limited amount of information, I will provide a few key pointers on how you can get rid of negative energy that is rooted in a past romance. (If you are experiencing negative energy from a present romance, get out of the relationship now and…take your energy with you!)

What many people fail to realize is that all romantic relationships start out with a lighted fuse! This fire of passion lights up the backdrop of an artificial stage that confuses non-adaptive players later in the act when the scene goes from bad to worse, when one of the players in the love drama remains stubbornly stuck on the exciting script of the opening act. “He is so wonderful, she is so perfect…he gave me so much attention…he said he loved me…she said she needed me…he texted me every day…she said she loved me…he talked about marriage”…and so on. The problem with these hot romantic fuses is that they are very short and they burn out fast, and when they do, the deteriorating relationship is obvious to everyone but the one who fell for it. All too often, our hopes and fantasies get the better of us and we are “all in”. We don’t use reason or good judgment, we don’t stop to think that the “perfect” beginning of the relationship could be all flash and no substance, certain to go dark as fast as it flared.

Thus, everyone needs to understand that the beginning of a romance is no measure of its merit.

The Mystery of Romantic Attraction

Needless to say, romantic attraction is a force of Nature. It is also a metaphysical force, an unseen and unknowable magnetism that often defies logic or reason and can impel people to feel, perceive. and believe things that they otherwise wouldn’t.

While the metaphysically-minded will attribute these more mysterious love connections to past lives or a “soul-mate connection”, this is cliché reasoning, unreliable and often incorrect. Once these ideas are accepted, right or wrong, they serve as misdirected encouragement that throws caution and reason to the wind. By believing there is an inevitability to the relationship, the person is subversively encouraged to become involved whether or not the love interest is viable. Spiritual beliefs and high-strangeness experiences are very common instigators of romantic fixations and they are not always of of Divine intent. Therefore, a warning to readers: proceed with great caution, allowing plenty of time, trial, and reason. Be long to look and slow to jump because there is far more spiritual subterfuge at work in these love attractions than is commonly recognized, especially directed at the uninformed and spiritually naive.

When I say love attraction is a metaphysical force I mean exactly that: there are unseen spiritual forces at work in the making of inappropriate relationships, in love fixations and imaginary love relationships. When we bond with those who are not good for us, or prematurely start a one-sided “spiritual”, non-physical love affair (often driven by complicated psychological factors) there are always negative spiritual forces standing by, prompting us to do so. They take full advantage of our self-ignorance. The job of negative energy is to deceive us. It gives us stumbling blocks meant to dilute, or weaken, our personal potential, to drain away our life force and cause unnecessary suffering in our lives.

Sorting all of this out takes time, careful thought, and plenty of trial, so if you throw yourself into a romantic entanglement too fast; or if you are one of the many who has been prompted to convince yourself a relationship exists when one does not, you’re asking…begging…for trouble.

From the spiritual perspective, we should know that every human life enters this plane of existence as a temporary resident on this planet, with a set amount of time allotted for the Soul’s mission. Time spent in superfluous and unhealthy relationships will divert one’s attention away from one’s real purpose in life, when that time could be spent in meaningful growth that would eventually lead to the discovery of love, with or without a partner.

Unfortunately, young people have been improperly taught by a soul-sick society and they get into romantic relationships that will later fail…because the choice of partners was not right to begin with. But if young people are taught to understand that the rush of desire and the feelings of being “connected” to someone do not mean that the relationship is one of “destiny”, and if they were made aware that these powerful feelings are not evidence that the relationship is right for them, not some “sign” it is “meant to be”, many broken hearts and life mistakes would be avoided.

Thus, everyone should know that The First Law of Romantic Attraction is this: Having no relationship is better than having a wrong relationship.

Which brings up a very important and little-known truth: there is absolutely nothing wrong or defective about being “single”. Finding a romantic partner, in fact, is not the destiny of every person! Those without partners are not abnormal. They may very well be living their lives more authentically, more sanely, than most of the rest. If you could only know how much sexual attraction is a hidden opportunity to manipulate your life and frankly, ruin it, you would be much less cavalier about your love ambitions. So I say again, having no relationship is better than having a wrong relationship!

Too many of us believe that we need a romantic partner because we have to have one to be okay. Negative energy will come into your life when you hook up with the wrong person just because it’s someone to hook up with. Learn to find yourself first, to become a whole and balanced individual before you try to find yourself through the attention of a romantic partner.

For those who are in recovery from a bad relationship, for those who have already crossed that line and are struggling to repair themselves, it’s time to think in new ways. To break free of your suffering, negative, circular thoughts and to erase those entrenched, cultural patterns that make bad romantic choices possible, you will have to think in new ways. You will need to make some positive changes.

The Need for Love…and the Pain of Rejection

Most human beings have a fundamental, divinely implanted longing for love, both to give love and to receive it. Unfortunately, our culture teaches us early on that this is to be found in a romantic and sexual relationship, so that’s what people are looking for. “Mr. Right” and “The Woman of My Dreams” are the euphemisms we use for that “perfect” partner, and countless unattached millions spend much of their waking days thinking about finding their romantic ideal. It’s a favorite dreamy distraction but can also be an elusive, often frustrating pursuit. It’s not “easy” to find the “right” person who checks all the boxes on our list, so…many people latch onto a warm body instead and then do everything they can think of to make their imaginary relationship into what it isn’t, and what it will never be. Sooner or later, all of this artificial “forcing” and play-acting causes traumatic breakups, and leaves us with negative energy attachments that came along for the ride.

Tragically, we have not been made fully cognizant of the fact that the longing for romantic love is primarily an imbedded biological instinct for species reproduction, with an added emotional component not experienced in other species. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, is that our longing to find “our other half” is a deeply buried spiritual and psychological drive for the integration of ourselves…an important consideration when you want to know what you are really looking for when you’re looking for love.

I will briefly point out that our need to integrate ourselves into a whole and complete person is a lifelong quest, causing us to morph, mature, and change over time. The changes that occur within people are what often causes a marriage of many years to dissolve, as partners inevitably grow apart. This is a natural and healthy dynamic of human growth, a holistic breakup this article is not meant to address. Even so, these painful situations are met with resistance, denial, feelings of rejection, and all of the negative responses explored in this article.

Whether a relationship is mature and established or a flash-in-the-pan fling, one of the most common energetic knots that tie a person to an “ex” is the rejection fixation. Whether the person was “abandoned” or “replaced” by a romantic competitor, or just “dumped”, the person that’s been replaced struggles with feeling rejected. This leads to a whole troupe of misdirected thinking and unjustified woundedness, such as “Why did he leave me for her? He has to come back! When will he realize this and leave her? I’m the one that’s right for him and I know it!”

The rejection fixation is a terrible state of mind. It leads to false blame, vitriol, hideous jealously, stalking, denial, dissociation from reality with mental imbalance and more…and terrible, awful, negative energy. To get free of this, we need to live by the Second Law of romantic attraction.

The Second Law of Romantic Attraction is this: If the relationship isn’t right for one person, it isn’t right for the other person, either.

When we argue with reality we suffer. And the reality is, you haven’t been rejected. Life cut you a break, it got you out of a bad deal. It’s time to hold your fantasies up to the light because somewhere in there, you lost touch with reality. If it was bad enough for you to “get dumped” then it wasn’t right for you, either. Count yourself fortunate! And let go, just move on.

Negative energy will come into your life when you mourn that which you should not.

Why Doesn’t My Love Change This Person?!Or, Why Your Love Doesn’t Turn a Snake into a Kitten

Girls are raised with romantic modeling based on Cinderella fairy tales and boys are taught…nothing. All they know is their hormones and their mother-relationship, or the lack of one. They, like the girls, start out their romantic lives flying blind and this is a social disgrace. By the time they grow into adults, both genders can be so romantically conflicted, so driven by ego misdirection and spiritual insufficiency that like their parents, they are also incapable of teaching their own children about romantic love. —And the beat goes on. Generation after generation, human beings are not told a whit of truth about love, romantic or otherwise. Most people go to their graves without ever figuring it out.

You, too, with negative energy left over from a failed romance, have been a victim of ignorance. It’s time to change all that.

Men and women have little-to-no understanding of one another. They really are different kinds of humans. Women mistakenly believe that men think like them, and men are completely baffled by female irrationality, often overwhelmed by the fantasy-based expectations and the outright ownership that many women require. There is often a meeting of body parts without a meeting of the minds. Come to know that you cannot expect a woman to think like a man and you cannot expect a man to feel the way a woman feels. You have to learn to be open to, and understand, the other person’s point of view. And then―don’t argue with them about their position and do not carry an argument about it in your own mind.

We have to make sure our mutual communications with a romantic partner are frequent, truthful, and “on the same page.” Daydreams and wishes—including calling a psychic to find out what the other person is thinking about you so you can strengthen your illusion— are worse than useless. When you are not talking with a “partner” in person…then you are having a relationship in your head. Stop doing that. And…when it all goes South on you, take a look at what happened: could you have made this relationship up in your mind? Many times, many timeswe do exactly that. Which means we grieve for something that never really was. This openly invites negative energy into our lives.

Whether a man or a woman, people in a break-up will often show great ignorance about the reason for the relationship failure. “I was so good to her!” “I love him so much!” “Why doesn’t my love change him!?” the woman wails. “Why doesn’t my love heal and save her?” the man laments, because society has taught him that’s what a good, lovable guy does.

Relationships today commonly consist of a giver and a taker instead of two people who give-and-take, which is necessary for a positive relationship. Seldom do we see equality in that department because the fact is, the overwhelming majority of romantic relationships are dysfunctional, even when they look good on the surface.

An imbalance of give and take is an imbalance of power. One partner has power over the other, which makes the other partner dis-empowered. Not a healthy situation, to say the least, making both of them losers in the bargain. And while women who link up with psychopaths and narcissists and abusers make the mistake of looking for a “strong man” or a “charming romantic” (woe the fairy tale fallacy!) men at the same level of psychological development will look for an emotional wreck or a helpless maiden to rescue. And of course, there is the woman who looks for a wounded man and the man who looks for the femme fatale, as well. These choices say a lot about our personal dysfunctions but they have nothing to do with love. They do reveal how often we confuse “imitation love” for the real thing.

Love cannot change a snake into a kitten. Nature made both snakes and kittens and each species has their own right to be, regardless of our opinion or intervention. I know people who hate snakes so much they would try to turn every one into a kitten, if they thought they could. And when it comes to romantic relationships, there are countless men and women involved with unloving, damaged, or psychopathic partners who are trying to do something very similar to this: change them into what they are not. Now, if you treat a rattlesnake like a kitten, you might not like what happens.

The person you hook up with is what he or she is. Come to know what he or she is before you get involved and before you invest your heart and soul into a relationship. Don’t get involved with someone that’s too flawed right now to be a good partner and think your love will change them, over time. It will not. Your fantasies and denials are not reality and they will cause you to suffer, leaving your auric body wide open to negative spiritual influence.

The Third Law of Romantic Attraction is this: If you argue with reality you will suffer. It is what it is.

Respect what is…and don’t fantasize about what it might be or could have been. You cannot make a person into what they are not, no matter how much emotion you feel for them. Next time, align yourself with a partner that is equal, openly willing, ready, and whole. Or take a pass.

To Let Go, You Don’t “Need to Understand” and You Don’t “Need to be Understood”

One of the biggest obstacles to getting over a romantic breakup is the “I have to understand!!” and the “I need to be understood” chorus. Oh, yes, it’s a song, all right, a kind of funeral dirge, played out in the lives of millions of people every minute of every day. Like the old tale about the Pied Piper of Hamelin who spirited away young children into a cave, this is a song that mesmerizes lonely hearts, seducing them into wandering away from the safety of daylight reality into a mental prison of their own making.

Even when they are told the logical and inescapable reasons why the relationship ended, people won’t hear it; they will still assert that they don’t understand. The obvious reasons for the breakup can be understood by an objective observer but not by the lovelorn. And how is it that you can give someone every reason the relationship failed, show them the undeniable facts, but they still don’t understand? Obviously, the problem has nothing to do with an understanding of why the relationship went wrong. Here, it is a matter of exegetics…unmasking the true meaning of what they say. They say they need to understand but the truth is, that’s not what they want. What they want is for the harsh reality associated with the breakup to go away. What they don’t understand…is why it won’t.

Unmasking what you’re really seeking, then, is to realize that the understanding you need is to understand yourself, instead of the other person. How did you let this relationship happen? How did you contribute to this situation? Why did you choose to give your heart to this person? What does this experience teach you about yourself? How can you help yourself grow beyond this disappointment and make better choices next time?

Something good has come from this. It’s up to you to discover that; to give credit where it is due, and be thankful for the experience.

When you can’t accept closure unless you can “understand” things, this doesn’t mean that closure hasn’t already happened. It has. It’s done. The relationship is over and it isn’t your right to declare it unfinished when the other person has chosen to exit. Your lack of understanding, then, is not a justification for hanging on…for not letting go.

In this case, you could easily become a negative energy generator, radiating unwanted attention to your “ex” and thus, send out negative energy to him or her. You may be engaging in psychic stalking as you obsess, and wonder, and hope-against-hope that things will change. This in turn will fill your own energy body with lower frequencies, which manifest as bad energy in your life. You will become the energy that you generate, so beware of feeling justified in your resentment, rage, self-pity, and bitterness.

Once again, relationships don’t need your permission or understanding in order to end. Love cannot be negotiated. It is not a treaty. It is not something to be contested. That’s just the way it is.

The end of this relationship is not the end of the world. If you refuse to let go, if you insist on being stuck, life will move along without you, the other person will move along without you…everything will move ahead…but you will be sitting there, stuck, stuck in your self-imposed misery with negative energy to keep you company.

Fortunately, life will teach us that our petulant insistence holding on to what does not belong to us, gets us nowhere. We are not rewarded for this behavior and no one is listening to our self-pity, anyway. We could save ourselves a lot of wasted time by not going there in the first place, and live by the Fourth Law of romantic attraction, instead.

The Fourth Law of Romantic Attraction is this: Every Soul is a sovereign, free being. A love relationship does not give either partner ownership over the other. Your consent to end a relationship is never required.

Your understanding and acceptance is not required. You and the other person have every right to end the relationship without acceptance or approval by the other. You and the other partner have a spiritual, moral, and ethical responsibility to let go with grace, without bitterness, and without projecting injurious energy onto the other or into yourself.

Genuine love cannot, does not, and will not ever intentionally injure another person, including an “ex”. If you cannot refrain from negative projection, then you didn’t love that person…at all…and you certainly have no rightful claim over them.

Energy Cleansing for Failed Relationships

Your emotions influence your energy field, and upsetting emotions over a romantic breakup will at least temporarily lower your psychic shields. Prolonged negative emotions will have a more harmful effect so in knowing this, perhaps you’ll be more motivated to not linger but to move forward and get your life back on track.

Depending on the depth of your involvement with a past partner, it may not be just your own energy that you have to contend with. Energetic entwining from strong emotional attachment and sexual contact can lead to transference of negative energy from the person that you were with. If you suspect this has happened, then you can begin to clear out this unwanted energy through several methods.

1. Take back your power.
Remember who you used to be before this relationship and reconnect to the way you were before this person came into your life. Be your individual self again!! Envision your life without the old partner. Reinforce your independence of thought, life habits, and discontinue any emotional dependencies you had as well as removing thoughts, reminiscences, and dates of special occasions specific to that person. In time, once you are healed and have your power back, thinking about this person occasionally, without emotional attachment, should not have a negative influence over you.

2. Pull your energy away from the former lover.
To sever psychic connections and to heal, don’t let yourself think about that person because your energy flows out with your thoughts, which in this case will strengthen the energetic knots that keep the energetic association intact. Imagine in your mind that you are “pulling” all of your energy out of, and away from this person, and see yourself taking back all the parts of yourself that you gave away. Say out loud, “I sever all ties to this person, I call my energy back into myself. I demand that any energy from this person that is attached to me, be removed from me, and returned to their owner.” Avoid places you went together, remove reminders, that person’s belongings and gifts, and scrub your environment of those influences.

3. Cleanse your aura.
Unless medically contraindicated, take salt baths daily, up to two weeks, to clear your head and cleanse your aura. Use ½ cup of regular sodium table salt (not Epsom salts, which is magnesium) per tub of water. Have a daily meditation as a spiritual practice. Reach out to your own Soul, the innermost Divine aspect of you, for cleansing, protection, and healing. Have a sacred cleansing ceremony, using sage smoke to clean your aura. Put your emotions in a positive polarity and think positive, hopeful things about your life. Do healthy things that make you feel happy, energetic, and peaceful again.

One last thing: even with the greatest care taken, even with conscientious dating practices and sincere reciprocal emotional involvement, love relationships can fail. There are no guarantees. This is life. Love is a risk that we take because the expression of love is central to our true Being. Succeed or fail, these relationships contain the mighty power to make us grow, expand, mature, and evolve. In the end, we are better for the experience. In situations of genuine love, the Divine has been the supernatural force at work in our lives, opening us to the discovery of our Souls through the transformation of our hearts, and the inestimable lessons that come with the joys and sorrows of love.

How to Smudge with Sage for Bad Energy Removal and Aura Protection

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of People

There is nothing more effective, other than living a genuinely truthful, spiritually-centered and loving life, than smudging to purify the energy field of a person, place or thing. Smoke from a proper smudging clears the air. It removes bad energy, negative vibes, spirit haunting, heavy feelings, and deflects evil intentions. The proper use of smudge amounts to a good scrubbing of the auric body!

Although many different plants can be used for smudging, indigenous American tribes consider four plants to be especially sacred: sage, sweetgrass, tobacco, and cedar. Each plant is considered to have a special function and this can vary by tribe and tradition. While sage is used for purification and spiritual protection, sweetgrass is used to summon positive energies, and like tobacco, its smoke is considered to carry prayers to the Creator.

Before you engage in a smudgiSmudgeng ceremony, however, there are things you should know and practices to adhere to so that you will receive the cleansing you seek. This article covers the use of sage for spiritual cleansing and negative energy removal.

Smudging with sage is a deeply spiritual practice and so prepare yourself to treat it as such. Fact is, modern people are habitually rushed and generally irreverent. When you supplicate the Creator of life, don’t be impatient or in a hurry. Be attentive to what you’re doing, be reverent, and be completely focused. Don’t chat, don’t have the television turned on or be talking on your cell phone. Create a quiet space before you begin.

Get in touch with your heart before doing this ceremony…this is not a head thing. It’s a heart thing. Muster up some love. Some trust. There is a great and very deep goodness inside of you; this is the time to let yourself feel that. You are stepping onto sacred ground, where wonderful things happen. Let the awe of the immensity of life have a place at your side as you conduct this ceremony. You are turning your back on the darkness of this world and turning into the Light of the Divine.

When to Smudge:

  1. When you are feeling down, negative, stuck, or in a spiritual low place;
  2. When your house, property, or any place or space has been exposed to heavy and negative energies or painful experiences and even illness;
  3. When you move into a new location, to cleanse the psychic imprints of previous occupants;
  4. Prior to invasive medical procedures;
  5. If you feel the presence of bad energy in living quarters or if a solitary room makes us uneasy by being in there;
  6. To create a protective barrier against outside negative influences, such as neighborhood issues, escalating conflicts, etc.;
  7. When you want to make prayers stronger and feel more connected to Spirit;
  8. After an accident or a close call in your car, smudge the vehicle inside and out to remove negative energetic imprints that can attract more negative experiences;
  9. To cleanse second-hand items to remove psychic imprints of previous owners;
  10. Prior to engaging in any psychic contact, using mind-altering substances (even medically prescribed medicines that alter consciousness), entering an altered state of consciousness such as channeling, mediumship, deliberate OBE’s, or engaging in other spiritual ceremony;
  11. For a state of spiritual clarity and personal guidance

What You Need:

  1. You will need a smudge stick sage bundle or loose-leaf sage. Sage, sweetgrass, and cedar combination can be purchased in a smudge stick but a plain sage stick will do (try desert sage or white sage), or loose sage if that’s all you have. What follows here will refer to a “sage stick” or “sage smudge”. If you have none of these, you can temporarily smudge with burning tobacco although I strongly recommend that you purchase sage and keep some on hand for a proper cleansing ceremony.
  2. You will need a fireproof bowl. (Traditional use dictates that this be an abalone shell but this is entirely optional.) You will use this to hold under the smoking sage stick to prevent accidental burns from loose embers, or to hold the loose, smoking sage.
  3. You will need a cigarette lighter, or wooden matches (longer kitchen matches are best), or a lighted candle.

Before You Begin:

  1. Open a good-size crack in the windows on each side of the dwelling you are in, if possible. If not on opposing sides, then open at least one window anyway. If you cannot open a window, then open the doors wide enough for some airflow. This allows the evacuation of negative energies that will flee the sacred smoke.
  2. Create a sacred space around this ceremony. Turn off the phone and all electronic noise. Tell others you cannot be interrupted. Clear a table of all clutter. Place the bowl and sage upon the cleared table, along with a lighted candle, if you want. Stand quiet and offer a prayer to the Divine Creator to assist you in your intention to purify the energy. You may certainly call upon angelic helpers and Divine Guides to be with you. Offer thanks to this very special plant. Focus on the cleansing, purification, and protection of the energy field around you, the dwelling, or whatever the object of your smudging ceremony happens to be. Don’t rush, and open yourself to trust in Divine Spirit. You may not understand this undertaking but it works and it works best when undertaken with respect.

How to Smudge:

This is an abbreviated ceremony for average people, not familiar with this spiritual practice or not trained in the shaman’s way. What matters most is that you are focused, prayerful, and reverent.

1. Holding sage stick over a fireproof bowl, light the end of the stick until it starts to flame. Blow out the flame and continue to blow the embers until they begin to smoke. At all times keep the stick over the bowl and pay attention to any embers that may fall outside the bowl. (Obviously, you want to be sure they have gone cold before you turn your attention elsewhere.)

2. You will want to hold both the bowl and the smudge stick in one hand if you can, so you can fan the smoke with your other free hand. Practice this technique a bit before lighting the smudge stick.

3. If you are smudging a dwelling, begin at the front and work your way to the back. You will want to smudge all rooms, attic and basement, cupboards and closets, and especially all corners. Be sure to include the bathroom(s). Holding the bowl under the smoking stick, blow on the stick as needed to keep the smoke rising, and re-light the stick when necessary. You need to have a visible trail of rising smoke as you work. As you walk through the dwelling, use your free hand to fan the smoke in each room, high and low, paying special attention to all four corners. (Negative energy collects in tight places and tends to “hide” there as well.) Say a verbal prayer to the Creator, asking for the area to be cleansed and purified of negativity. While you are asking, also give thanks that that you are receiving this help.

4. If you are smudging yourself, begin by holding the bowl and stick in front of your heart/chest area. Continue to pray that any negative energy be removed and that you be cleansed and protected, helped and healed. As with cleansing a space or thing, also give thanks that you are receiving this help. Wave the smoking stick up from your heart, over your head, down your face and neck, down shoulders, arms, to the ends of your fingers, top and bottom. Beginning again at the heart area, swirl the smoking stick around your tummy, pelvis, both legs and under your feet. Turn yourself around in the smoke so that your back side is also completely bathed in this sacred smoke.

5. When you have finished, give thanks to the Creator and to the plant for the cleansing. This is also a good time to give thanks for all the good things in your life. Please don’t forget to sincerely express your gratitude.

6. Crush and grind the tip of the smudge stick into the fireproof bowl to extinguish the embers. As an extra measure of safety, when you are finished, feel the end of the stick to make sure it is thoroughly cooled. Set the stick, inside the bowl, in a safe place away from anything flammable for awhile. (A porcelain stove top in the kitchen is a good location to place the bowl until you are sure the stick is cold.)

7. Now you can close the windows and/or doors, and begin to enjoy the blessed and purified energy. You will feel the difference immediately.

And finally, when you empty the bowl of smudge ashes or get down to a tiny stub of the stick and want to toss out what’s left, please do not dispose of the sacred plant remainders into the the garbage. Instead, scatter the ashes and left-over smudge  bits into a flower bed or under a tree, or another suitable earth spot, offering it back to the earth with sincere gratitude.

This age-old sacred ritual is a precious gift handed down for you to take into your life, to  use it to keep spiritual darkness at bay. Learning the reverent and proper way to smudge will bring purification into your spiritual body and surroundings, as well as bring spiritual help into your life. Done frequently and reverently, it will serve as your guardian and reliable connection to the Divine.

When Meditation Goes Wrong: 6 Secret Facts About Altered States of Awareness

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeoplePREFACE

Today’s article is written in response to a reader’s appeal for help. Since many readers are writing to me with problems that are relatively common to everyone, I will occasionally write articles to benefit not only the querant, but also to be of assistance to the spiritually-seeking public, many of whom can benefit as well.

The comment below was submitted under the article, “Spirit Guides in the Great Circle of Life.”

Hello- happy to have found this short thread as I have a question that relates to it. I have a meditation practice and am able to connect to my guides. However, despite intentions for the highest good, and aura protection I encounter negative engeries (sic) sometimes. I may be perhaps tired but not feeling negative when starting my meditations and it is upsetting to me when this happens – almost to the point where I am reluctant to continue. Asking for specific help (AA Michael, God, Jesus) seems to have no immediate effect and where are the guides that are supposed to protect me?!). Your insights and comments are sincerely appreciated. Thank you.

Today’s topic about meditation backlash –a matter of safety during altered states of awareness—has been brought to my attention numerous times by people in the last few weeks who are experiencing invasive energies and related problems due to deficiencies in their metaphysical understanding. Clearly, with religious affiliations on the decline and spiritual practices growing in popularity there is a corresponding need for the information that follows.

But before I get to the body of this article (and as stated elsewhere on this website), readers should know that I am unable to provide personal assistance in an email or comment forum. Nevertheless, a day doesn’t go by but what people from all over the world reach out to me for help. I encourage readers with real problems to take the initiative to order a session with me instead of leaving their troubling situations to the chance that I will respond to them from the long list of daily appeals for guidance.

As for the dear individual who wrote the question above, this information may or may not help her adequately or do justice to her own need for mentoring. Why is that? Without tuning in to a person’s circumstances and very personal energy imprint as done in a live session, much important information cannot be plumbed in a one-size-fits-all response.

Having said all of that, I present all of you a gift from my heart in the form of knowledge you can use. I sincerely hope you feel the love and find this to be worthy guidance for your precious life.

Meditation is Very Good for You When Undertaken with Purpose, Knowledge, and Wisdom

In our materialistic, hectic and crazy world it’s a matter of course to get scattered, stressed, and completely out-of-touch with the spiritual foundation of life. Every person on the planet needs a daily spiritual practice to stay sane and balanced amidst the chaos going on around them and to find spiritual direction in their lives by first coming to know the greater truth about themselves. The greater truth deep within you is the “Big Truth” our dependency-oriented social structure does not want you to discover. It would change everything. EVERYTHING. ─Which would be very good for the planet and her beings, but not good for those who peddle, proliferate, and profit from control and exploitation.

Meditation happens to be one of the many methods used for daily spiritual practice. It’s an age-old spiritual tradition that provides a way to connect with one’s purpose in life and rise above what can seem like an otherwise terminal and empty existence. With meditation, one can discover a remarkable sense of inner divinity that can’t be achieved through the hand-me-down dogmas of priest-authority traditions which by their very nature are belief systems that deny the right of direct access to one’s relationship with the divine.

Disciplined forms of spiritual meditation originated with the Eastern Hindu and Buddhist religions, and as such is very foreign to people who have been conditioned with Western Christian beliefs. As a philosophy of direct connection to inner empowerment, meditation has been frowned upon by traditional Christian dictates but in spite of a long history of religious resistance, there is now a sweeping trend across the social strata to accept meditation as a recommended therapy for mental and physical distress.

Scientific studies have shown meditation to:
1. Increase resilience, mental balance, and happiness;
2. Increase empathy and expand the ability to have compassion;
3. Improve intelligence and attention;
4. Decrease or eliminate anxiety and high-strung reactions; eliminate the effects of subliminal stress such as startle syndrome;
5. Greatly improve personal relations;
6. Initiate emotional balance and even out mood swings;
7. Strengthen immune system function and promote physical healing;
8. Stimulate creativity and problem solving;
9. Improve memory and learning;
10.Lower high blood pressure and overcome addictions;
11. Help with post-traumatic stress disorder;
12. Improve sleep.

Now as to the spiritual benefits of meditation, science cannot measure this and while that’s to be expected, the spiritual rewards are impressive. On the spiritual level, meditation:
1. Is a threshold to interacting with Greater Reality (the non-physical, spiritual reality we cannot discern with our physical senses);
2. Provides personal insight about truth and exposes deception (including self-deception);
3. Attunes one to the Soul, the eternal and non-physical nature of one’s existence;
4. Raises personal vibration to a positive state and initiates spiritual gifts;
5. Clears out mental clutter that gets in the way of inspired guidance;
6. Provides purpose, direction and deep inner calm;
7. Builds courage and personal strength, cures fearful, anxious states;
8. Provides comfort and a sense of being loved, increases empathy and understanding;
9. Heals hurt and instills forgiveness, heals relationship issues;
10. Builds personal and spiritual power and empowers healthy personality traits, which changes life trajectories for the better;
11. Connects one to Cosmic Consciousness.

These 23 items are not all the benefits of meditation but are certainly enough to make a sensible human wonder, “Why would a person not meditate?!”

The unconditional answer to that question is simple and will come as a surprise to most. Out of those 23 reasons why one should meditate, there is one pivotal reason not to. A person should not meditate if they are not spiritually prepared to enter into an altered state of consciousness. (And, for certain psychiatric conditions meditation is not advisable unless under medical supervision.)

Spiritual preparation before meditation is not a technique—even though the technique of aura protection as presented below is a critical part of preparing to meditate. Spiritual preparation involves a decent education about your own psyche, along with an understanding of how your mind may integrate with the many levels of reality that interface with meditative experiences.

One Man’s Meditation is Another Man’s Fishing Trip

There are countless articles, books, and information about what meditation is, along with the preliminary “how-to’s”. Much of what is out there is relatively shallow, brief, and geared to the lowest common denominator of a majority of people who want to get spiritual without having to think about it too much.

The word, “meditation”, describes a broad variety of self-centering practices, along with an array of differing motives and objectives by practitioners. There is really no definitive definition of meditation because of cultural shadings, mixed objectives, and melting-pot methods.

Thus, many people say they “meditate” without really knowing what meditation is…or if they are really meditating. A good many people will say that they meditate when in fact their meditation is a mere moment of relaxation. For them, it may be a day on the lake fishing or time spent watching the birds. Some people will say that meditation is what they do to “get in touch with myself”, or finding a peaceful moment to alleviate stress or pain. Others meditate in the hopes of connecting with Cosmic Mind or to become spiritually enlightened, such as receiving help from their Guides. There are visualization meditations (using the imagination to envision something) and mind-emptying meditations (stilling random thoughts to arrive at a silent mind).The list of potential motives that people have for “meditating” goes on…and the same with their methods.

This is one of those situations where a little bit of knowledge can be an unwise thing, for many who meditate undertake a foray into Greater Spiritual Reality without any knowledge of what they are doing, how to do it, or what really occurs if they happen to be successful. In fact, true and successful meditation undertaking by a novice seeker requires a qualified personal mentor.

At the very least, meditation and/or any other mind-altering action should never be just a fishing expedition to see what happens next. And, under no circumstances should altered states of consciousness be entered into when there is the use of recreational drugs such a marijuana or ceremonial drugs such as peyote unless one is properly initiated in that ceremonial tradition, nor alcohol use, (even a “light glass of wine”). That means, if you help yourself to a sip of bubbly or a toke of Mary Jane to get “mellow” prior to meditation or if you regularly use these substances, you might as well decide to stroll naked down a dark alley in the worst section of the city just to see if you come out the other side unscathed. It’s a lunatic risk.

Further, when engaging in mediumship; psychic readings; channeling; focused use of pendulums; focused reading of Tarot cards; automatic writing and automatic art; shamanic journeywork; self-hypnosis; trance states and attending seances, one must be spiritually protected and psychologically sound. Under the right circumstances, the kinds of fish that live in these deep psychic waters just might “turn the tables”, with you ending up as the one that’s in over your head (as with the above reader who is experiencing what she thinks is akin to negative entity interference). Before you make any effort to move out of ordinary waking consciousness and move your mental awareness into a meditative, psychic, or altered state, there are things you need to know about the process of altering your consciousness…and most of all, about yourself.

The Mysteries Within Altered States of Consciousness

No matter how clinical the mainstream wants to portray it, properly performed meditation is something of a spiritual mind trip—not just a physical alteration in brainwave patterns. What science does not recognize is that meditation can open a person’s perceptions to the unseen spiritual dimensions of life. This is new territory for the average person’s conscious, everyday, ego-mind to deal with and consequently, one can be hard-pressed to deal with these perceptions if unprepared.

During meditation, our day-to-day awareness moves away from waking, linear, and rational consciousness and moves into an altered, (shifted) and non-linear state that impinges upon our connection to a Greater Spiritual Reality. The very real things that cannot be seen, known, touched, heard, proven, or perceived by the ego mind and physical body can become accessible during meditation. When you meditate, you knock on the door of the Greater Reality, the Spiritual Unknown, where all things are possible and that is so utterly infinite…the identity that is you is not even a single grain of sand on all the beaches of endless existence.

Greater Reality contains the Spirit World where physical beings go when they pass over and it is also the place of the unborn. It is a place of altered time lines, this physical world and countless others, Souls, spiritual helpers, all information, ancestors, other universes, the collective unconscious, the subconscious, endless and unimaginable life forms, thought forms, unseen frequencies, non-human intelligence, powerful spiritual forces, other lifetimes, other dimensions…and that’s just for starters. The bottomless mysteries of Greater Reality are endless.

Whew! So, would you set out for the deepest reaches of the most remote jungle—all of you desk warriors, technology and grid dependent tender-feet —without getting trained and prepped for an expedition into the rawest of the wild?!

I think not. You would want to know the terrain and have a compelling purpose to go there. You would want hip waders to cross predatory waters, an assortment of survival instruments and first aid supplies, a guide, and oh, yes…a definite plan to get back “safe and sound” after your amazing adventure.

A mind trip into Greater Reality, via meditation, requires that you be likewise informed and prepared. So, here it is: what you must know before you go!

Six Secret Facts About Meditation and Altered States of Awareness.

1. Your beliefs and emotions will influence (and limit) your experience.

Your perceptions of what you see, hear, feel, seem to know, etc. while in an altered state of awareness, such as meditation, will primarily take shape according to your core beliefs and internal programming. A person with ingrained Christian teachings may perceive Jesus or yet another symbol, insight, or introspection that revolves around some aspect of Christian belief. Someone who has a different mindset—any particular mindset—will perceive something else. As one begins to expand the repertoire of his or her beliefs and begins to abandon belief for the pursuit of knowledge, the symbols, insight, and understanding that happen will also shift accordingly.

Your inner moods also influence the quality and type of the meditative experience, so don’t enter a deep alerted state or meditate when you are in a negative emotional state. (Light self-suggestive states, however, are helpful to overcome negative emotions.)

Must know: Your beliefs and mood do color and effect your reality, your perceptions, and your understanding. This means that what you see, feel, seem to know, etc. during an altered state of consciousness is most likely not an irrefutable fact…but a personal teaching specific to your stage of growth. As you grow, the more you will be able to know: what you think you know or what you think is happening is a temporary rung on an infinitely tall ladder. Spirit will do anything and everything to teach you not to be a slave to your own beliefs and to stretch you to grow by learning more about yourself.

2. All exploration is experimental.

Meditative experiences—as unlikely revelations of irrefutable truth for all the world to abide by but rather personal teachings that come within the framework of one’s understanding—should be taken as experiments in self-discovery. You may think you are learning the secrets of Life when in fact you are receiving snapshots of your own psyche and taking important baby steps in the process of personal development.

Must know: Keep an open mind. Above all, understand that there is much you will not understand and that’s just the way it is. Rejoice at bits and pieces of insight and put what you don’t understand on the shelf. You cannot explain everything because non-physical reality cannot be molded into a tidy conceptual box your physical brain will want to create. It’s all too big for you and the sooner you accept that, the more spiritual you will become.

3. Before you enter Greater Reality, your auric energy body must be protected.

Under no circumstance should you enter an altered state of consciousness without mentally building a protective light shield around your aura. (Repeat of same warning as above, one more time: drugs and alcohol are to be avoided. Protection exercises are largely nullified by substance use, not just “abuse”.) Your protection exercise has to be done with the specific intention to shut out any energies, entities, non-human intelligence and other influences that do not have Divine authority/Higher Self permission to interact with you. –And there are many unfit energies that would seek to have your audience.

Must know: Reality is directed and shaped through consciousness on some level of existence, including what you mentally focus on while in a physical body. What you mentally project—your visual and heartfelt intentions—becomes real in the spiritual dimensions. Strong visualization and personal projection of energetic protective boundaries, along with your heartfelt intention, creates a tangible defense to keep out energies that can harm or deceive you when your aura opens up in meditation and other altered states of awareness.

4. Your intentions must be very clear and appropriate.

Laziness and overconfidence is a sure way to get into trouble. If you think that “you” don’t need protection or that you can be vague in your protection exercise because you are somehow already so spiritual that “bad” things can’t bother you, you are in the company of many others who share your delusion. At the very least, you will stagnate and never grow while you think you are. Have a definite and appropriate purpose for entering into altered states. Develop mental clarity about your intentions for meditating before you do so.

Must know: If you can’t develop and maintain mental discipline enough to keep focus on your intention, best to skip meditating until you can. Again, have a firm purpose before you meditate.

5. You are responsible for what happens. Whatever happens is merely your teacher and a catalyst for your growth.

None of us are victims, but are participants in the unfolding of Consciousness, specifically our own Consciousness. For example, if one has a good/evil belief system and has tried to adopt a spiritual path without relinquishing certain superstitions, (a very common habit of “putting new wine into old bottles”) this mixed-belief concoction may expose one to unpleasant experiences while in an altered state of awareness. These experiences are merely teaching moments that show us what we have to clear up and let go of in order to grow spiritually. In other words, a true spiritual practice is hard work that will remold you while it demolishes beliefs that are not aligned with Universal truth.

Must know: If something unpleasant is happening and what you’re doing to alleviate it does not help, then it’s time to look deep within and do the inner work that’s indicated by the experience. It’s not up to Angels to spare you from your own inner issues, which are there for you to face, learn from, and overcome. Take responsibility for self-improvement while you make learning about yourself and your place in this existence a way of life.

6. Nothing in existence is truly static. Successful meditation creates change.

It is natural for average human beings to create comfort zones and want to stay there. We feel safe with all things familiar, even when the familiar happens to be a dark cave of despair. Most of us are afraid of change, in fact—we are afraid of just about everything. Most of all, we’re afraid to look inside of ourselves. We are deeply terrified of our own Shadow, which all of us have. And as long as we remain afraid of our Shadow and afraid of change, we will never fully find, or become, our Light.

Must Know: A successful, dedicated spiritual practice via altered states of consciousness, such as meditation, will create change within you—one way or the other. Your worldview will change drastically. Your perceptions may turn upside down as you begin to wake up from the dark dream of the human stage and see—for the first time—things in this world for what they really are. You will see yourself in a whole new perspective—for what you really are, shadow included. But what makes a shadow? Light, of course! So, instead of being powerless, you will discover the power within yourself. Where you were cowardly, you will learn courage. Where you were self-centered, you will want to serve others. Where you were egotistical, you will be humbled. Where you were weak, you will become strong. –And so on, for in all of the truth that you seek, the most important truth will be about yourself. That is the catalyst for genuine spiritual growth.

By all means, learn and practice meditation but do so wisely and with respect. What you sincerely seek, you will find. Deep inside, it is goodness that you long for. You seek goodness with all your heart, oh yes, you do! With meditation, you are enabled to climb out of your perceptual cave and go beyond the limitations you’ve built around yourself by laying bare the Universe inside of you. In this, it is a certainty that “Goodness you will find”.

Want Good Energy? Find the Beauty in Your Life

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeoplePeople tend to get depressed in the winter: maybe you can relate. There is a diagnosis for this condition, called seasonal affective disorder, or SAD, for short. During winter, there’s almost no color in the world around us; just shades of grey and dull browns…muddy asphalt…dirty snow…little light…and instead of being outside in nature, people just want to retreat from it.

Having been caged indoors for warmth, artificial light and safety, by the time Spring comes around we are famished for glittering sunlight, chirping birds, and green foliage. We are yanking at the leg irons to get outside once again. We ache to be released from a four-walled human habitat; the beauty of nature pulls on our heart strings and awakens the life within us.

Why do you think that is? It’s because all domesticated human beings are wild inside…and believe it or not…the “Great Outdoors” is the cradle of a human soul.

Nature’s winter season has an important counterpart within the human psyche. Domesticated humans undergo spiritual winters. During these times, self-expression and personal growth will hibernate right alongside the bears of the wild, especially for those who suffer from SAD, and this human spiritual winter can come during any season of the year. During those times, we are depressed and the world seems grey on the brightest, most beautiful of days. Be that as it may, in their natural state humans have a soul hunger for nice days and green trees, for the beauty, color, and exquisite symmetry of nature.

Psychologically and spiritually, healthy humans crave beauty, they thirst for it. Surrounded by beauty, the spiritual luster within a human being can come to life. Maybe you have noticed: people tend to be more pleasant toward one another on beautiful, nice days; they also tend to be more outwardly civil when they are within a beautiful environment. Beauty and cultured behavior frequently (although not always) go hand-in-hand.

We all know towns and cities that are outright ugly. Maybe you live in one of those places: poorly zoned communities with run-down, shot-gun buildings on tightly-crowded lots, garish, eye-sore signage piling up to the sky and spilling over onto the sides of the road, leaning poles with multitudes of sagging wires, litter, broken sidewalks, acre upon acre of asphalt and pavement, dust, junk, litter, barred windows, dirty air, over- crowded roadways with the racket of sirens and back-up beepers.

These man-made, unnatural, and offensive expressions of human society look especially terrible in the season of winter, but if we want to know why we have to put up with them we should know there is a reason they exist. They reflect the perpetual spiritual impoverishment of those who created them…those who develop property out of greed, those who oversee communities but do not inspire or nurture them, and those who choose to live in unsightly ways because they have gone utterly blind to beauty and its critical importance in our psychological and spiritual lives.

So here we are: with millions of people living in physical and spiritual blight simply because the greedier society becomes and the more financially inequitable, the more hideous the common human environment becomes. Beauty-in the form of function and design at least- is now largely the purview of the rich, leaving the rest of the masses to contend with decay and all the negative intrusions it brings to human Consciousness. To live in man-made desolate places, without countering the ugly things with those that are beautiful, is to parch the human spirit and to slowly… invisibly… desiccate the living soul.

Beauty in our Environment Gives Rise to Good Energy

Without beauty around us, it is difficult to thrive. Collectively, unless we become conscious of and respectful of beauty, humanity’s expectations of a “great society” will collapse into ruin. However, just because one has to live in an ugly place does not mean we have to embrace our circumstances as inevitable. Not only can we be advocates for community change, but we can surround our personal environment with things that are beautiful to us. We can also create physical order in our lives, which is an expression of beauty in itself.

As a clairvoyant, I can tell you that the spiritual reality is a magnificent array of an unlimited Light Field, arranged in exquisite order. There are also regions of chaos and darkness, inviting the creation of order from and harmony within them. There are probability fields, and convergence points, from which the instant physical reality arises…and this has direct meaning to you in your personal life.

Your aura, or spiritual body, is a fast-moving field of colored light particles as well as waveforms of energy. These change with mood and emotion. When you are feeling down, your aura will take on a muddy, darker hue and when you are energetically “up” it will brighten. When your aura is bright, you attract more brightness, your good energy begins to expand and your aura gets stronger.

A strong aura is a protective shield against negative energy. When you find something beautiful to focus on, this alters the convergence point of a particular timeline moment, and if you do this frequently, you change the frequency of your personal vibration to a higher rate; meaning, your life will begin to express more positive events.

The Hopi have a saying, very spiritual, and it is, “Walk in beauty.” The First Nation peoples were inseparable from Nature, from the beauty of our Mother Earth that envelopes all of us, if we have the eyes to see and a heart to hold it. Their advice is extremely sage. We would all do well to walk in beauty. Nature shows us the way.

The word, “beauty”, can also be capitalized like a proper noun because in the context of this article, Beauty is a force of Consciousness and a Divine expression. -A Deity in its own right. While it’s valid to say, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and while to one person purple/orange/green nail polish is beautiful, and to another, it’s ugly, the kind of beauty I’m writing about goes way beyond the fickle fad of the day or an intellectual debate or so-called sexual attractiveness.

True beauty is that which inspires the vital energy, the Divine Consciousness within a person… it always has a subtle life force…and because it comes from the Source of Life, there are concealed blessings associated with it. It is a constant fountain of Life for you to dip into, especially in times of need, sadness, and despair…during a winter season, the winter of your life, or all those recurring moments when your inner world turns grey and your heart feels barren of hope and joy.

By now, you probably know I’m going to tell you that Beauty makes for good energy. There is enormous value to human society in fine art, classical music, fine architecture, and outstanding literature. There is untold benefit from having an ordered environment. Above all and more than anything else, the beauty of Nature can heal your psyche, your spirit, and your life. People who are in close communication with Nature can even find great natural beauty around them in wintertime: barren trees and windswept plains have a beauty all of their own. Then…there’s springtime, which is upon us now, and my, oh, my…there is a feast of beauty that awaits you!!

So get outside and take it all in. Again, the Hopi say, “Find two beautiful things” when you are feeling down. Focus on the first beautiful thing, then find another…and focus on that. Let yourself be with the beauty and merge with it. You will discover that the heavy feelings have dissipated or left you entirely. Even gazing on, and being with, the beauty of a single flower can put you in a state of spiritual transcendence. Cultivate an appreciation of beauty in your life, and beautiful, you will most certainly be.

“Beauty before me, beauty behind me, beauty to my left, beauty to my right, beauty above and below me. I am on the pollen path of joy and oneness.” —the Hopi Nation

Two Secret Truths to Stop Negative Thinking and Change Your Life Right Now

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of People

In case you don’t know this already, everyone has negative thoughts. After all, we are all human and life is often a struggle in one way or another, which wears us down and makes us feel less than positive on occasion. Even so, an emotionally healthy person can recover from these negative emotions and thoughts, becoming positive again if for no other reason than feeling negative all the time is well, a miserable experience.

Many other people, however, have an abundance—a chronic onslaught—of negative thoughts, which lead to negative feelings and yes, all the misery that comes with a negative state of mind.

It’s distressing to witness the epidemic of negative perceptions among increasing numbers of people but even more distressing to see that in fact, human society is becoming very a negative construct on a global scale. To admit our negative condition is not to be negative, but rather to see the truth for what it is. Seeing the truth about the negative state of our world is by no means a positive realization, and to counter that “downer” there are people who will not contend with obvious problems because they wish to remain positive!

But does denial about what is negative, for the sake of being positive, have any lasting merit? True, you can isolate your mind and “create your own reality” through narcissistic self-protection and denial of other people’s suffering, but all that does is to make you culpable in that suffering. Why? We could say that sidelining is for infants and children, those who are not mature or strong enough to take responsibility. And while many of us wish to be as unburdened as children, to protect our innocence and remain neutral or safe behind the line of worldly battles; to deny, ignore, and completely disengage from the suffering of others is ethically reprehensible, a type of cowardice done many times under the guise of “spirituality”. Just as it was most definitely not “spiritual” during the Inquisition to support the Church in the burning of heretics (even though people deceived themselves in the form of projected religious loyalty when they were really just being cowards), it is not “spiritual” to refuse to face the truth that negative conditions exist. This is worldly reality, even if we don’t want it to be “our” reality.

To recognize these things is not to be weak. It is to be strong when besieged with adversity. This is what Nature intended for grown-ups to do and further, superficial positivity as promoted by many a modern self-help guru will not get rid of the negativity within us. It merely enables our inner Shadow to hide, thereby contributing to the collective negative matrix. So yes, there is negativity inside and outside of us and if we cannot cure it with denial or cover-ups, then what is to be done?

Clearly, in a world where events, governments, institutions, conditions, and circumstances grow increasingly dystopic and where the humans who are affected by a psychopathic social disorder must live their individual lives, there are mounting challenges to the maintenance of a positive state of mind. Since the beginning of civilization until this very moment (and into the far future if we continue our dysfunctional and passive behaviors), average people have had to live out their lives under oppressive social orders which created deeply miserable conditions. Naturally, negative circumstances provide every opportunity for negative thoughts; but in spite of that, there is a mighty, utterly positive Divine Light inside of the human animal that no darkness can truly extinguish. Thus, you and I are here today because those that went before us overcame unimaginable trials. The positivity deep within our ancestor’s souls overcame the negative conditions in their lives.

There is a Light inside of every human animal that no darkness can obliterate.

So, then, about this inner positivity: you know it when you have it. But other than being a personality trait, where else does that come from? How do you suppose that people can endure so much hardship, can be pulled down by the undertow in their lives and still bob back to the top, with optimism for moving ahead? What is that force inside of you that keeps you going, and going…and going like the Eveready rabbit? What is it that powers your life when external events, don’t??

By now you you’ve guessed I’m going to tell you about the Light inside of you, but first, let’s look briefly at the opponents of your inner Light—darkness and shadow—which herein are metaphors for negative thinking. Much has been written about “positive thinking” and although I can appreciate the intention of these teachings, it’s easy to see that the world hasn’t changed for the effort. That’s because the act of positive thinking, as presented, tends to bandage mental processing without curing the underlying cause of negative thought. As you know, healing has to occur at the level the disorder is created and when we cover up deeper negative feelings with positive dressings, we fail to heal the core of our negative eruptions.

You probably know that the word “darkness” is often used to describe conditions of war, loss, famine, and disease and you also probably know that “darkness” is a common metaphor used to describe depression, which is the opposite of happiness—that positive emotional state often associated with sunshine and light. Metaphysically speaking, “darkness” describes a negative energetic condition demonstrated by a diminishment, or absence, of light in the auric field of a person, being, or thing, and scientifically speaking, darkness is the polar opposite of brightness, or the absence of visible light.

In all these usages, there is a correlation of meaning that is fascinating to contemplate: where there is physical light, darkness cannot exist, except as a shadow. Of course, a shadow is an area where light from a light source is obstructed by an object, such as happens when your body in sunlight casts a shadow upon the ground.

To be a human animal is a vastly complex experience, made of both light and darkness, and an abundance of shadow. (Shadows, visually and philosophically, are the grey areas that are neither black nor white, and that’s an important observation as you learn to undo negative thinking, so keep this in mind as you read on.) We are so complicated that we have a most difficult time understanding ourselves, for instance: it confuses us that we are good and bad, kind and cruel, happy and sad, selfish and generous, suspicious and trusting. We love and we are indifferent, without a shred of caring for another. We are defensive and receptive, cowardly and brave. We give and we withhold. We think too highly of ourselves and we despise ourselves. And so it goes.

Thus, mortal humans are both positive and negative, both light and shadow; but despite our mortal contradictions, the spiritual core of every person is powered by the inner Light of the Creator Consciousness. This inner Light belongs to the realm of the Soul, and that realm is an energetic sea of immortal Consciousness, also known as Greater Reality. The Greater Reality is the timeless realm of Spirit and Source…among other things. It’s where your energy—your life force—originated and it is the spiritual condition to which you will eventually return after your physical body “gives up the ghost.” In the Greater Reality of Source Light, the Light does not come from a certain direction, as in the physical reality where light shines upon us from a distant star that we call the Sun. The Greater Spiritual Reality contains, among many states of being, a realm of pure light that emanates from everywhere all at once, from inside to outside, and where there is neither shadow nor darkness.

As you came from Light, as your spiritual Self is made of Light, as you are concealed Light wrapped in a non-lustrous physical husk, then it follows that your true Divine nature has no shadow. Darkness holds no sway therein. Negativity is not called for, because the only condition that exists on that level of your Being is love, which is the ultimate Light and THE positive force in all of existence. Here, there is harmony without conflict; a constant frequency of joy and fulfillment.

Illuminate the Shadow

Yes, that’s your spiritual self…but you are also here, in this world. And you don’t even know if you believe what I just wrote. So, what about getting rid of negative thoughts?

The challenge of being in this physical world is to sidle as close to our core spiritual Selves as possible, though most of us don’t. We live our lives totally immersed in our egos—the temporary worldly identity that is not cognizant of the true eternal Self—and spend our time being negative when we don’t get our egoic desires met.

When we do this, we are playing in the shadow, a bridge between positive and negative, a place of neither dark nor light. We give our Shadow Self the upper hand. We grope and fumble around in a twilight reality, not seeing things for what they are, struggling with the more negative emotions that come from a twisted perspective; and when we do that repetitively, we cross into darker and darker states of mind. We get more and more negative. A few among us—those who intentionally and repeatedly harm other people without remorse (typical of people who hold great power over others)—go black. “Going black”, or becoming a person that is so stripped of Soul they can’t be fixed, is not something that happens instantly. This soul diminishment can be said to occur gradually and if it happens, it’s because years of negativity have gone unchecked.

I’m sure you know that when you do something often enough, it becomes habit. Repetitive negative thoughts are habit-forming. They can become automatic—very easily—and because our thoughts have vibrational frequencies that attract similar frequencies, it doesn’t take long to magnetize and collect the negative thoughts of others all around you and to bury yourself in a mire of misery and anguish. Pretty soon, it seems impossible to “get positive.”

If you find yourself struggling with negative thoughts, it’s time to step out of the shadow and into the light, where you are not deluded by those faulty perceptions that are not illuminated or clear when you are giving your Shadow Self free reign.

Two Secret Truths to Eliminate Negative Thoughts:

Secret Number One:
Do not choose to think things that are energetically harmful and feel you are excused for doing so. You are not.

Under your physical skin, you are an Immortal Consciousness made from Illuminated energy that is Indivisible Light. When things don’t “go right”, there is a reason. Regardless of what you think is causing this, your Soul is trying to wake you up, to get you to stretch beyond a blinded, false identity and learn some truth about your life. Your Soul is trying to reveal to you a lie.

For example, let’s say you are having negative thoughts about someone you feel has wronged you and you incessantly dwell upon thoughts of seeing them hurt in return. Well, here’s a TruthFlash for you: The “reward and punishment” ideas of this world, promulgated by religion and capitalized by governments, are the “poisoned apples” of fairy tales. This popular belief is very old but that does not make it true. Falsehoods like this sway you to relentlessly fixate on hateful desires to see someone else suffer, while giving you the false belief you are justified in your negative thoughts. This keeps you stuck and enslaved to the negative energy of resentment, rage, and hate. Feeling righteous (not!!) you stay there with all determination and proclaim you can’t forget and can’t be happy until that “bad person” gets their “just desserts”. In so doing, you have chained yourself into a dark prison, where no Light enters and darkness continues to accumulate. Then… more bad things begin to happen in your life and you get more negative, still. Your negative thoughts have attracted more negative things!! In all of this, you are the one who is making yourself suffer more than whatever was initially done to you, and no, this is not someone else’s fault!

Fact of this world is: bad things happen to everyone. Your negative thoughts do you harm. They do not create recompense. They will take you to no good place. To make a long spiritual story short: you are not a victim, so quit your whining and get over it.

Secret Number Two:
You are not your thoughts. Many times, the negative thoughts you think are not your own. Reject them as spiritual invasions, clean your aura, and focus on beauty.

As an Immortal Spiritual Being, you are energy first, and a body, second. You are not a person with a Soul; you are a Soul with a body. As a spiritual being, you have psychic or spiritual abilities to pick up energies outside of yourself, both positive and negative.

There is a hidden energy matrix that has influenced human beings from time immemorial, and to their detriment. It is a broadcast “standing wave” that directs mass consciousness to sway this way or that. It has influenced the development of religion, most religious experiences as well as paranormal interdiction’s, political trends, social trends, and is responsible for memes, which are infectious mind viruses.

Furthermore, there is a vast energetic, vibrational field of human thought: for every thought of every human, there is a corresponding vibration set up in the resonance of our collective reality construct. You can pick up thoughts from others. You do it all the time. When you experience negative thoughts “out of the blue”, look to unseen metaphysical influences for their influence over you. (How to Have Positive Energy and a Good Aura, No Matter What)

And while most of you reading this are not so interested in saving the world right now, if you apply these two little secrets to your lives you will change your own life in a big way. Then, your perspective about things as well as the way life interacts with you will change for the better, as well. These changes will ease much of the suffering you experience and that is a very good thing to have happen, for yourself… and for the world at large!

Dealing With Holiday Blues: Why it Happens and How to Heal Yourself From It, Part 1

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleIn previous articles, I’ve written about how to understand and cope with your emotions,but at this time of year I want to share some important thoughts about those particularly vexing and sad feelings that many people have during the holiday season. Here, we are going to look at the cause from a Soulcology perspective, from the wider view of the physical, mental and spiritual totality—the realm of the human soul—that is the core essence of every human being. We are going to drill down to the core of sadness, and as we go we will be unwinding false social and personal assumptions from which the source of holiday misery arises.

If you had clairvoyant vision like I do and could see through walls, you’d know that during the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, there is a sharp spike of grief and a pall of bitter emotional cold in the greater collective consciousness. Of course, there are those who are the “haves” —those who, through circumstances of the moment can experience the ideal celebration—but there are many more “have nots”. To rephrase in the “spirit of the season” we can say that there are far more Tiny Tim’s than wide-eyed, cherub-like children with roses in their cheeks and stars in their eyes.

Over the decades, much of my work at this time of year is to lift people out of their holiday blues by calling to their attention that the things they grieve about are heightened by their adherence to some version of the holiday fairy tale. Suddenly, single people feel ten times as single. Widows feel more widowed. The financially disadvantaged are painfully overwhelmed. Parents of adult children go into a distorted state of seeming to forget that their children have their own lives and for those few days out of the year have a compelling need to have adult children return home for the holidays—at all costs or all is lost. We give guilt for Christmas and we receive it by the basket-load.

In each instance, whatever it may be, heightened holiday depression can be traced to the deeply rooted expectations caused by rehearsing the fairy tale we insist upon embracing. But life isn’t like that: life does not always agree with what we want to prioritize in our heads. Non-Christian religions don’t celebrate Christmas; the Universe does not have a calendar and does not recognize Christmas; the planet Earth and the vastness of life that arises from earth does not recognize Christmas; and guess what? The multidimensional spiritual beings that Judeo-Christian religions call angels don’t celebrate Christmas! Now just imagine that.

But that’s not all, Elflings, not by a long shot. Read on.

Seasonal Reality Distortion (Unreality) Creates Havoc with Emotional Processing

More suicides occur during the holidays; more addicts fall off the wagon; more traumas and sickness occur and more people pass away because a weakened life force is further diminished by the Collective suffering energy. Emotional health is destabilized and depression is epidemic because many of the emotions that we process during this time are rooted in the unreality of the holiday myth. All of this is completely unnecessary and we can choose not to participate. We can choose to stay grounded in the health of what is real, instead of becoming entranced with fantasy expectations and getting ourselves lost in what is not real, not possible right now, “just in time for Christmas”.

Notwithstanding the severe reality and stark imperfection of a suffering world with its countless Tiny Tim’s, most people (Americans in particular) are entranced by the collective dream of a gingerbread holiday: which is to say, perfect with all the gumdrops. Knowingly or not, we want that postcard picture of Christmas made in the image of by-gone years, when families were more interdependent and neighbors were, well…more neighborly. Particularly at Christmas, there is a conditioned expectation that we are to abruptly dislodge ourselves from everyday life and become sojourners in the magical lands of make-believe.

Hand-me-down holiday ambitions are generational and rooted, passed from parent to child without question, despite the stress and depressive states they so often cause. It’s a highly dysfunctional cycle that society refuses to recognize because like all co-dependent dysfunctions, it is socially woven. Further, it has an inbuilt protection to prevent the recognition of its illusion: if you talk like I am right now, you’ll be called a Scrooge, and you will be dismissed as a party-pooper. In other words, scorn and ridicule are the most effective deterrents to would-be nay-sayers. So to prevent fearful discomfort, people often choose to suffer rather than undergo a purifying purge of their conditioned beliefs. (Ask anyone who has tried to deprogram a cult member.)

Furthermore, the onslaught of advertising that depicts people as being “joyful” at this time of this year strongly reinforces fantasy expectations. In fact, even though artificial television scenes are anything but real, we naively interpret their commercial motive as a standard to judge ourselves by. We fail to see that it’s all just another big Madison Avenue lie. –A commercial blitz of social programming geared first, to part people from their money and second, to program humans being into a a numb conformist mode that, on a deeper level, serves to have people “believing” in a lot more than just Santa Claus. Television is the great Hypnotist of the Masses and every dictator or merchant from the beginning of time would have lusted to possess this magical instrument of mind control.

How to Give Yourself the Gift of Mental and Spiritual Well-Being

Regardless of what you might think about my Grinch-like assertions, commercial programming and dysfunctional, inter–generational expectations work together to communicate that we…our lives… are somehow defective if we can’t have the “Currier & Ives” postcard holiday. Those in the know about human psychology understand very well how we love to escape as a temporary remedy for the numerous psychological wounds within the human psyche. The powers-that-be reinforce childishness in the population because that makes us weak…and thus, gives social controllers power over us; as in power to influence spending, power to influence beliefs and perceptions, etc. We are easy targets for the skilled manipulators among us; we follow their lead, and we follow each other. Consequently, millions of people go to enormous lengths to make that special season Oh. So. VERY. Perfect.

Of course, it’s unrealistic.

Of course, life isn’t like that.

Really. What’s to argue?

So think upon this: Our persistent beliefs in unreality cause mental and spiritual suffering. When we argue with reality, we suffer. Every time! Every. Single. Time.

When things aren’t “perfect” this season, when you don’t have enough money, when you don’t have that special someone to be with, when you don’t have anyone to be with, when you don’t have a job, when your family can’t come to visit or you can’t go there, when you can’t get off from work, when you are haunted by memories from previous holidays, when you’re feeling sad and are not even sure why, when there are inter-family conflicts and worries about any of your relationships, when you are hassled and stressed and overwhelmed:

STOP! Back it up. It’s time to examine your feelings, to see what is really true, what might not be true, and get grounded in a reasoning state of mind. In Part Two of this post, to be published the following day, I will provide an excellent exercise that will help you.

Dealing With Holiday Blues: How to Heal Yourself, Part 2

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleIn our last article,Part 1 of Dealing With Holiday Blues, you read about how the unreality of holiday expectations cause sadness and depressed emotional states. And, as I promised, in this segment, there is an exercise to help you overcome the negative emotions that often come into play at this time of year.

Demolish the Untrue Beliefs That Cause You Emotional Pain

In Part One of this article, you read that our persistent beliefs in unreality (and here we are speaking of the Christmas myth but any and all unreality applies) cause us to suffer. When we argue with reality, we will suffer every single time because Life does not “play by the rules” of the human ego. Life is what it is. And while things do change and will change, the things we want (like having a love partner to share Christmas with) don’t necessarily come when we want or in the way we want..The urgent needs that arise during the holidays give rise to much emotional angst…and seasonal sadness.

Life is a roller coaster ride of emotions. You’ve felt so many emotions in the course of your life, not just during this time of year. Looking back, you may wonder how you made it through everything. But you did.

When we are having an emotional experience we can easily lose perspective of the situation, as well as lose sight of the bigger picture of life itself. Very strong feelings distort how we perceive and what we are able to understand in the moment. This can seriously muddle our thinking and make things worse… putting us too deep in the forest to see the trees, as they say.

When we get muddled it’s time to step away from what we feel, through the process of meditation…or just getting very still…and let go of the feeling so we can find our core self. The core self is the eternal spiritual being that we are, under the emotions, behind the circumstance, and before the ego personality of this life was formed.

Emotion begins with a perception of what reality is (not often what it really is), followed by a thought that incites a feeling inside you. For example, as a kid you may have had the perception that someone was making fun of you as you saw them smile when you tripped on a shoestring. An incorrect perception (the belief you were being mocked) was followed by an incorrect thought, “she’s making fun of me!” which could have given rise to an emotion of feeling embarrassed or put down. Later in life, then, the root experience could lead you to become overly self-conscious and sensitive. —All this for nothing, since the reality at the time of the occurrence was that the person was smiling because of your childhood charm. (You were terribly cute all the time!)

Perceptions vs. Reality

The trouble with emotions is that they can “talk” us into believing our own story. We believe that what we perceive is a fact and thus, we can believe that feelings of anger, sadness, fear, etc. are not only justified, we can believe them to be based in an objective reality. And as I have said, very often, they are not.

We often let emotions control our outlook on life, our thoughts, our behavior and our choices. Thus, they have an enormous effect on the way we live our lives and during the holidays, there is a particularly insidious influence at work. From childhood, we were taught that Santa rewards good little boys and girls with what they want for Christmas. This carries over into the subconscious even into adulthood, when our childish insistence on having what we want for “that very special day” rolls out of us in the form of increased depression when our unrealistic desires go unfulfilled.

The “Family Tree of Emotions” exercise is designed to help you when you are struggling to figure out why you feel the way you do. The diagram shown here has blank boxes that spiral inward. You can sketch your own on a separate piece of paper.

Family tree of emotionsSuppose you are struggling with a feeling of sadness. Write “sad” in the first box at the beginning of the spiral.

Then, ask why do you think you are sad? If your answer is something like, “I’m depressed because John won’t spend Christmas with me”, then write that down in the next box. If your deeper belief is “…it means he doesn’t care”, then write that perception in the next blank box.

“Nobody really cares about me”…”My brother said I was a pain in the butt” …“I always come last” and so on, progressively working your way to the core beliefs that are hidden behind the screen of the emotion you are dealing with.

When you discover the core belief that is generating negative emotions, you can then work with the deceptions associated with the belief. Ask, what if the thing you believe isn’t true? For instance, if you believe you always come last, hold that up to the light. Count the times you didn’t come last. And if you’ve come last too often, then what self-respect are you lacking to allow others to disrespect you? What do you need to change about yourself? What can you do to improve your state of mind and happiness? For example, do you need to talk to a counselor? Do you need to get out of an unfulfilling relationship? The list of possibilities goes on, but you are in charge of your own life. Decide to make it better by changing what needs to be changed and doing what will bring you true happiness inside of yourself. You are Divine Consciousness incarnated into a physical form. You deserve to have a meaningful life; in fact, it’s your responsibility to make that happen.

Be the Gift You Want to Receive

When you suffer emotionally, chances are good that there is a generous amount of self-deception going on. You need to deprogram yourself from unreality.

And as far as Christmas is concerned, here’s the truth, a simple reality, a plain fact: This is just another series of days, and December 25th is just another day. That’s all it is. That’s all it ever was.

So…you may spend that one day in a way you don’t want; either alone, or stressed, or whatever: it doesn’t make you a failure, a misfit, a good little girl forgotten by Santa. Every day of your life is precious. Thank God there are more days to live and have good things come to you!!

The ideals we hold up as Christmas hopes and dreams are those things we would do well to practice in our daily lives. To attribute a time of good deeds to “Christmas Spirit”, like feeding the poor and helping the sick on a few days of the year—when viewed through the clear lens of reality—is truly insane. Let us minister to those in need the year round, let us, through positive change and a stronger sight into the reality of our own lives (including what we wish to make it) make a daily commitment to know joy and share it. This is how we will bring peace on earth and good will to men, this is how we will become joyful beings with magical lives! This is how the human race will be “redeemed”—not by a mystical Personage born thousands of years ago across many religious traditions, but by every person, here and now, who redeems themselves by coming to understand the beautiful, truly mystical truth of their lives.

Life, the Reality of Existence, has a gift for you and it is Truth; so here it is: no matter what you think, you are never defective. You are not an abandoned soul or a hopeless victim filled with want. You are never unlovable, even if love is not returned in the way you want or when you act badly. You are not alone even when you think you are. You have a marvelous purpose even when you think you don’t. And know that the trials of this day will always pass. As sure as you live and breathe, life loves you beyond measure, for it made you.

If you are angry and experiencing self-loathing this holiday season, choose to stop punishing yourself. There is no gain and there is no reason. Your emotions are not clear and you are not seeing reality clearly. There is a great span of opportunity ahead, so focus on what is positive, no matter how hard it is to do so. If you are seriously depressed, get immediate professional help. Know you are experiencing a type of temporary insanity and for that, intervention is required. You cannot punish life for hurting you: don’t even try. Life hurts. Get through it and move beyond it. You have the ability to do so and if you’re hurting, get some help and keep on going.

For the rest who have disappointments and pitfalls and lonely moments, be kind to yourself and do some good for others. Count every single blessing in your life. Every one. All those thousands of things that you take utterly for granted. If you have eyesight, be very glad. If you have warmth, be thankful. If you have fresh water, remember all those across the planet who don’t… and be grateful.

So don’t let Unreality pull you down. It is to sacrifice for nothing. It is to waste yourself for a fairy tale. Be strong. Live tall. Life is good, even when it’s hard. Your Divine Soul wants you here, the world needs you, and you have all 365 days to come to understand just how special you really are.

So, this Christmas make that powerful decision to “Have a Meaningful Life and A Joyful New Year.” The gift of life you were given is overflowing with hidden potential. May you rise upward and shine through the darkness as the brightest of Heavenly Stars…beam on, beam on…in all the days and nights to come.

How to Develop Psychic Ability & Communicate with Divine Spirit: Getting Your Head Ready for the Journey

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleSpiritual reality is a vast, infinite, mysterious realm. It is literally a territory largely unknown and unexplored by human beings. And while many people want to learn how to communicate with their Guides, about how to be a spiritual medium or a channeler, an aura reader, an energy healer, a mystic or “master” by learning through videos, articles, books, teachers, and classes, few wonder if they should attempt to cross into unknown spiritual territory without having in hand the information and preparation so necessary for their safety and success.

An overwhelming majority of articles you can read on the Internet address the subjects of Spirit Guides and psychic development in a superficial manner. It’s a barrage of amateur fluff that has no substance, often written by people (or bots) who get their information from what they’ve read by authors who wrote those books from what they read…and so on. It’s a repeat of a repeat, with original information that wasn’t substantive to start with. Further, many popular books written on the subject aren’t much better because the authors are often eager, aspiring “experts” who are not truly ready to teach.

Reliable information for your journey into unknown spiritual territory is scarce, indeed.This absence of wise information can make an expedition into the Spiritual Unknown uncomforable and risky. When it comes to spiritual communication, you have to know what you’re doing, where you’re going, who is over there, and how to find your way back…or you shouldn’t head out in the first place.

To Begin an Exploration of Spiritual Territory, Unlearn What You Think You Know

So let’s get down to some first facts. Before you can learn to communicate with Angels and Spirit Guides, your Higher Self and Greater Knowing, you will almost certainly have to unlearn at least some of what you think you already know. There’s nothing difficult about it once you learn to get out of your own way; and to do that, you have to start with a clean slate in your head. Clear the obstacles. Begin your preparation for this amazing journey by asking yourself if your present beliefs in a greater reality are doubtful, or if your motivations for getting into this are adversarial, such as with those people who want to “prove” none of it’s real. If you are out to prove that none of this is real, then congratulations! You’ve succeeded already because if that is your mindset, psychic ability and spiritual communication will never be real for you. And if you’re a habitual, entrenched doubter, the same applies.

Starting with a clean slate in your head means that you are open to new possibilities. You don’t have to believe, but you do have to be open to the prospect that there is a non-physical reality, filled with spiritual beings, and that a few of those countless Beings are appointed to help you in your life.

Crossing the Territorial Lines: It’s Time to Challenge Consensus Reality

That’s just the start of clearing your mind. The next phase of mental housecleaning can be quite the struggle: religious programming that has implanted fear and suspicion about spiritual communication is somethng that has to be unlearned, as well. You have to be at least willing to consider that churches and their religions want control of your spiritual welfare; they make it their business to stand in the way of your direct experience of the Divine. They have appointed “authorities” to pretend to do that in your behalf and to support this construct of a middle-man to know God, they have indoctrinated their congregations with a belief that exploration into spiritual territory is “forbidden”. They have posted frightening signs along the perimeter of their proclaimed reality to keep explorers out, with warnings of apostacy and damnation for those who dare to walk over the lines they have drawn. Again, this is not because it’s forbidden by any Higher Power but because if people had direct spiritual contact and spiritual knowledge for themselves, churches would cease to exist.

That would be a lot of jobs lost and an unfathomable amount of money lost. For instance, according to one report, the Vatican released information in February 2011 which said that there were 410,593 Catholic priests alone, around the world in 2009. And an article out of Germany  speculates that for the nation of Germany alone, the “cash assets of the church’s legal entities” are valued “at about €50 billion”, with preliminary financial scandals revealed and hidden wealth to be uncovered. Now, it’s obvious that in the world there are a great many more religions and their churches beside the Roman Catholic Church, and there are many more nations than the little country of Germany. I don’t suppose there is a calculator you could afford to buy that would have the capacity to tally up the money owned by all religious entities, who get a substantial portion of their wealth from obedient believers. (Fact is, religion is the biggest business of all and fact is, God doesn’t need your money–and never needed your money—but alas, I get ahead of myself!)

Even more important than a loss of money, the loss of believers who depend on churches for intercession with God would mean that religion would lose its power over most of the people on this planet. No wonder those with religious “authority” don’t want the “common person” to learn they can have direct communication/direct revelation from the Divine! Once you realize that you don’t need religion but that religion needs fearful people in order to survive, and once you begin to implement your Divine right to know truth for yourself, you will not need, nor want, an intermediary to stand between you and Divine Spirit. Imagine, for a moment, what would happen in this world if everyone knew the truth about that.

But wait, there’s more! Clairvoyant psychics like myself would no longer be needed, and I’m fine with that! Assuredly, governments could topple. Deceptions would be revealed. Wars would cease, elitist financial markets would take a hit, wealth would equalize across the planet and oh…did I forget to mention? People would start to heal themselves and this profoundly suffering planet would be restored to balance.

Yes, a lot of privileged, “chosen” people would be out of work, but the vast majority of beings on this planet would know peace; prosperity; love; enlightenment; physical, emotional and mental healing; and all else that goes with those wonderful states of being.

Further, considering the immense improvement that would happen if people communicated personally and directly with the Divine, instead of relying on moneyed religion for their answers about life—the question arises: if God and peace and goodness isn’t more present on the planet because of all the money acquired by religion to sustain itself, then who, in fact, really needs all that money? Ah, could it be? Could it be…considering the terrible shape the world is in, with more money going into more churches, fueled even further by the dire and desperate situations on all fronts…could it be that “God” doesn’t need your money, but the “Devil” can’t live without it?

……………………………………………………………………………………………………

Join me next time, as we continue our safely-mapped explorations into Spiritual Territory together. Until then, may you have peace of mind and heart, for you do not walk this earth path alone and right now, Spirit calls you to find the truth that will set your mind free. What an incredible adventure awaits you!

Want Good Energy? Find the Beauty in Your Life

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of People

People tend to get depressed in the winter: maybe you can relate.

To live in man-made desolate places, without countering the ugly things with those that are beautiful, is to parch the human spirit and to slowly…invisibly…desiccate the living soul.

Beauty in our Environment Gives Rise to Good Energy

Robin's eggs in nest-2Without beauty around us, it is difficult to thrive.

Thawed from the Big Chill

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleIt’s been awhile, my friends, since I spent time with you here on the website. The Big Chill of this extreme winter induced “writer’s hibernation” within me, but fortunately everything else was functional while waiting for the promise of Spring to show itself again. Since the robins have reappeared, oh joy!, I am now thawed out and ready to resume the articles you’ve waited for.

I seldom take a break from my work and after taking a couple of days off from my hectic schedule early this week, I was greeted today with a hot blast of problems from folks who had expected me to get back to them sooner. I want to thank them for their teachings and for the trust they (and all of you) extend to me in the work that I do. It’s important, though, that you understand that on occasion I may be away and unavailable for a few days, so if you don’t hear back from me immediately, please be patient. There is a considerable demand placed upon those of us who labor to help others, and sometimes I have to take the time to be a regular person, just like yourself. There are many more people in this world than just little ole’ me, and you can take comfort in the fact that I don’t consider you a number in line, even if sometimes you will have to wait in line to get your consult.

Due to the problems encountered today, I learned that a toll-free number we occasionally used for this website is no longer working, and in fact was cancelled without our knowledge by a web provider and  was evidently re-appropriated by the telecommunications carrier to another company promoting questionable products! After more than four hours on the phone and the Internet trying to resolve the situation, I am still working on a solution. I apologize to all of you who called that number and were surprised by something that had nothing to do with this website or my services. I should have caught it sooner, but the downside of being too busy is that things get overlooked, when they shouldn’t. (Thus…the need for some days off now and then…and occasional delays in my response.)

I’m not the only one who feels harried at the moment, not by a long shot. Which takes me to the very thing I’ve been meaning to write about for the last month or so: the condition of this world and your place in it.

This has been a difficult season the world over: flooding and severe storms in the UK, volcanic eruptions, polar vortices, record low temperatures, record heat and wildfires in Australia, unexplained booms in the sky and shakes on the ground, severe drought in the western U.S., bizarre winter wildfires in the U.S., rumors of war, political intrigue, and much more. This has caused people quite a bit of spiritual unbalance and emotional malaise: travel agencies report that record numbers have taken flight into the South for a little “peace” from the relentless cold and the endless expanse of winter’s dull gray.

Most of the people who visit this website are looking for help with energy problems in their lives. I am most gratified that many of them find help inside these digital pages because this site exists to help, comfort, and serve. There is much more to be written, but the foundation of all that I write is one principal that cannot be ignored: each one of you must engage in a daily spiritual practice and good energy management if you are to rise above the state of the world and the increasing difficulties that are making their way onto the world stage at this epic stage of human history.

Life, for every single person, grows increasingly difficult as it becomes exponentially complex. American society has become so extensively complicated that we are witness to the beginnings of social unraveling. Things that shouldn’t break, break or malfunction surprisingly often, and with ever greater consequences. (Think Hanford nuclear power plant and Fukishima, for instance.) Accountability for failures, official and otherwise is most often deferred, which leads to no correction or positive change. Complexity has led us into a society where people go through twelve stages to do something that should take one or two stages; it has muddled our thinking and blunted natural reason…the kind of reason that has enabled our species to survive. Examples? Endless daily rules and the legal system itself are now masters instead of servants; politicians have become self-serving, psychopathic criminals, hopeless hypocrites, or puppets, or anything but representatives of the people; corporations have become political powers full of manipulating players instead of businesses; educators indoctrinate and don’t teach; religions preach love, forgiveness, and brotherhood but don’t practice; medicine purports to heal but makes far more people sick than it ever helps; institutions that are supposed to work for the greater good are instead, veiled instruments of destruction. A traffic stop today can get you tased. If you live in some states, you can go to jail for an unpaid bill. Something misnamed “family services” has become a bogeyman, a stalker of families, according to countless stories here and abroad. Your five year old can be detained by police if he steps out of line in kindergarten. These are extreme times, and these are the years of destruction to the fabric of a formerly free society.

How do you deal with life? What will you do to connect to the Infinite Spirit within you? How can you ever connect to the sacred identity you were born with… but now cannot seem to find in all the chaos and callousness?

Answer: You can be serious about cleaning your energy field. Have a daily meditation and a Light protection exercise.  Love yourself and love others. Do not let the world make you afraid or hardened in heart, but rise up and be a warrior for goodness and truth.  Be steady in the storm. In the realm of Spirit, it is always Springtime. Connect to that truth, even when the world is in a Big Chill, bereft of love and light, sanity and justice. I know who you are, and with a little daily effort on your part, you can come to discover this, as well.

Now is the time for you to be the spiritual Jedi  you were born to be. Don’t just “try”…how many of you say this…for as Yoda said, “Do. Or do not. There is no try.” See the clock? It’s talking to you. It says, my friends, that it’s time to do. It’s time to thaw the Big Chill and warm the earth with your Light. And all of life will thank you for it.

Blessings, from my heart to yours.

Three Steps to Heal Your Soul From Guilt

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleMost people reading this have suffered from some form of guilt all their lives.

Guilt is a terrible emotion. Most often, it’s not called for. Countless good people flog themselves with guilt for minor offenses, imagined wrongs or failures, and unavoidable human frailties.

So, let me ask you, what is guilt? You know when you feel guilty, but do you know what guilt is?  The dictionary defines guilt as:

a feeling of responsibility or remorse for some offense, crime, wrong, etc., whether real or imagined. (Emphasis mine.) Also, being judged for an offense and found guilty.

Guilt, of course, has a direct association with “having a conscience”, our sense of “right” and “wrong” and how we respond to our inner Judge. Many folks have a merciless inner Judge and they use it to abuse themselves constantly over things they’ve done–or believe they’ve done–that they judge as wrong. Even worse, people feel guilt over things they’ve done that other people judge as wrong, or would judge as wrong if others knew about it.  Thus shame, secrecy and repression have become part of the human psychological makeup and the lucrative, circuitous profession of “Freudian psychoanalysis” was born.

A principle belief of our Christian culture is that guilt is one of those things in life that is both justified and necessary. We have been told we are born guilty (in sin) and that we need to either be redeemed or get punished. This “blanket acceptance” of guilt seeps into all aspects of our psyche and has a direct impact on every area of our lives. As a society, we have grown increasingly enamored with punishment and we impose guilt on others based upon our own ideas of right and wrong. But for the purpose of healing ourselves of the sufferings of guilt, we must also realize how much we impose guilt upon ourselves, based upon other people’s ideas of right and wrong.

Most people “police” themselves based on consensus opinion and in particular, they worry far too much about what other people think, or might think, about them. This is a very dysfunctional substitute for conscience, because when we act a certain way for the approval of others, we are not using our inner compass about proper and improper behaviors. We are not in touch with the Spirit within us, which is the source of true, authentic conscience.

Other people do not have any divine prerogative to tell you what is right and what is wrong about the way you live your own life. They are free to share their ideas and to live by their own codes, but ultimately you are the one who must decide for yourself how to best live your own life. We are accustomed to judging ourselves by other people’s standards when our own hearts, our own intentions, our own spiritual beliefs, and our own reasoning may very well be leading us in another direction altogether.

Different societies and cultures have different morals or differing rules of right and wrong. Thus, actions in one society would not induce guilt whereas in another society, it would. For example, some collective groups believe having more than one wife is good, and that men are entitled to help themselves to sexual opportunity. Tell a typical, married American woman that and watch the blood in her veins start to boil. No punishment is too severe for such a crime, she tells herself, and she hopes he would feel guilty and miserable this very instant, for the rest of his useless life, and into the Great Beyond.

The Western world, at least, views guilt as a necessary payback: most people have been raised to pace themselves to the tune of that spiritual dirge. We hardly ever question whether this is a true spiritual principle, when in fact we do need to question our allegiance to judgment and guilt. After all, we have almost entirely forgotten a very necessary companion principle of Judgment, which is called Mercy.

Mercy, a Simple Word for a Powerful Principle

One of the great mistakes that human beings make is that they look to God for mercy but aren’t ready to bestow it upon themselves or each other. Mercy is defined as:

compassionate or kindly forbearance shown toward an offender, compassion or benevolence: as in “Have mercy on the poor sinner.” The disposition to be compassionate; and something that gives evidence of blessing. (Emphasis mine.)

Clearly, the application of mercy forgoes the punishment of payback, as benevolence is a forgiving act that replaces a curse with a blessing. Far too many people punish themselves with guilt, when what they need the most is to bless themselves with forgiveness, when and if an offense has truly been committed. Most often the offense is perceived and contrived, based on skewed beliefs…and in that case, self-forgiveness is a matter of self-correcting the misperceptions. Too many wait for forgiveness from others before they will forgive themselves but, because we cannot control what others choose to do, and because we can only control ourselves, it really matters not whether others forgive you for a perceived wrong or actual wrong. What does matter is: will you forgive yourself

How often I’ve heard people say, “I can’tdo something they need to do because they say, “I could never forgive myself.” These are often the people who are looking outside of themselves and gauging their actions on how other people would judge them or upon a distorted sense of obligation. They may need to get out of a wrong marriage, they may need to let go of a dysfunctional relationship pattern, they may be feeling the inner call to leave a particular religious affiliation…whatever the choice they need to make, they fear to do it not only for the outside impression of being found guilty of something, but for the inner guilt they feel they won’t be able to live with. So rather than suffer with guilt, they suffer from their choices to live against what their spirits long for…and suffer in silence, instead.

We are not taught to overcome guilt. We are not taught self-mercy and no wonder: when you look around at the world, mercy toward anyone is in critical short supply. Spirituality on this planet is in very shabby shape and its past time the human race began to equate the Divine with benevolence, love, and mercy instead of a hedonistic excess of judgment, punishment, and guilt. And if we can’t do that, it’s time to question our definitions of what it means to be Divine.

Do No Harm: The Motivation Behind the Action

A code of ethics or the basis for a determination of what is wrong and what is right does not need to be complicated. The Buddhists have boiled it down to a very simple guideline: “Do no harm.” To this I would add, “Place responsibility where it belongs.” In our self-assessment of whether we have done right or wrong, whether there is a reason for guilt or no reason for guilt, a clear knowledge of the motivations for our behavior should be the bedrock of our analysis.

With the ethic to do no harm, the motivation to either “do good” to ourselves (it is proper to do what is right for yourself!) and others, or to have a neutral impact on others, will be at the forefront of all our actions. Most injury to others, with its subsequent guilt, will not occur. With the ethic of placing responsibility where it belongs, we are standing accountable and sovereign and allowing others the same privilege. We are not obligated to save people from themselves; we are not obligated to carry a dysfunctional relationship or maintain an unbeneficial social obligation. We are not taking on the burdens and improper associations that cause us to carry loads of guilt for responsibilities toward others that do not belong to us, and have never belonged to us…even though we believed they did. The suffering caused by unnecessary guilt would be a thing of the past.

Three Steps to Heal Your Soul from Guilt

Obviously, a deeper discussion of this subject is beyond this article. Please watch for my upcoming e-book for more comprehensive ways to heal from guilt, but for now, here are three things you can do to ditch the guilt and get on with your life:

1.  Decide that you don’t like to suffer and begin to challenge the beliefs that make you suffer. (Watch out! You are likely to feel guilty for challenging the beliefs that are causing the problem! Guilt in an incredibly tricky and addictive adversary; when it comes up, just say “No.”)

2.  Understand. If it’s not good for you, it’s not good for someone else, either. (Example: If you are profoundly unhappy in a failed relationship but stay for the other person, you are not doing them a favor, you are hurting them by living a lie, while you are hurting yourself for no just reason.)

3.  Let Go. Let live. Let it be. Don’t dwell on mistakes or injuries. Each day is a new day and a new opportunity. Don’t live in the past because it no longer exists. Be the best you can be, each day, and be in the moment.

May this short article bring you peace of mind, and may you know the freedom of self-love and mercy to all. Be blessed, my friends.

Spirit Guides in the Great Circle of Life

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleMany people don’t know about Spirit Guides but almost everyone knows about angels.  Studies done within the past several years indicate that 50-70% of Americans believe angels are real…a belief also held by those who do not consider themselves to be religious. Human beings, religious or not, need hope in their lives and some sense of a gentle spiritual connection: angels are easy to believe in because they often seen as less threatening and more understanding than a god that dispenses judgment and punishment.

For several hundred years at least, since the Christian doctrine of angels began to evolve, adherents to Judeo-Christian theology have looked to angels as the only messengers of a “one true god.” They have viewed angels as critical intermediaries and messengers who exist along an upward pipeline that leads to the Divine. These beings are believed by some to come…and then go…with information or protection, much like a phone that rings for a brief time and then goes silent.

Other cultures around the globe, that are not Judeo-Christian, have had ancient beliefs of spiritual guidance that comes from within a person’s heart and from the Spirit Guides who help and protect humanity. These are spiritual beings who bring good guidance from Great Spirit, the All-That-Is, and who guide us from everywhere, all at once and are always present.

Here’s a rough and simple diagram that illustrates these two different viewpoints about God, Great Spirit, Angels and Spirit Guides:

Circle Ladder

These two paradigms, or belief systems, view Reality in substantially different ways.

The Chain of Command Paradigm

The “God, angels, humans” viewpoint is a linear view of existence; meaning, it believes that our connection to God happens upward on a ladder-like straight line. Along this upward line there is a hierarchy of spiritual authority, like a chain of command, with angels standing between men and God. This worldview believes that humans are separate from, and far beneath, the Divine.

This same viewpoint also sees human beings as God’s chosen creation, with a distinct inequality between man and nature. Humans are believed to have been given dominion over the “soul-less” world of nature by a God who created the world for mankind. This undeniably ego-centric viewpoint does not make room for the value of unlimited life, with ensouled Consciousness all around us, in us, and through us.

Many times, what people believe to have been angelic intervention is actually something done for them by a Spirit Guide and not an angel. In the truest sense, angels are enormous cosmic beings that exist on another level of reality who “do their own thing” while sometimes also serving, in a limited capacity, as Spirit Guides to human beings.

The Great Circle of Life Paradigm

The “Great Circle of Life” viewpoint is not a ladder or a line, but instead, it accepts that life is an all-inclusive circle where everything is connected to the Divine at the center of existence. It sees that all things are part of the Divine because everything is interconnected, from the outer world to the inner world and from the inner world to the outer one. This worldview says that humans are not separate from God and further, that God is present in all things.

In terms of human history, modern Christianity is very new to this planet and has been largely confined to Western culture. When we look at ancient, Eastern, mystical, and indigenous traditions–all of which are much older than the “Yahweh” religions of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism–we find a common belief that all things are seen as connected to Great Spirit and to each other and to all other created things…even rocks. These are viewpoints that tie man and nature closely together; that reverence the planet as a divine being in its own right. Native Americans, for example, use the terms, “Mother Earth” and “All my relations.” This speaks of the greater family of created beings we are all a part of, and of their deep reverence for the Earth which gives life to everything here.

In this circular order of life, there is no separation between beings on a supraluminal level; and importantly, spiritual help can and does comes from many different energies–not only from “up there” on that spiritual ladder of power. The human and non-human Spirit Guides from these supraluminal realms…the Greater Unseen Reality…serve God/Great Spirit, along with providing vital help to their human family. It’s very comforting to know that we are never truly alone and that along with higher beings that we have come to call angels, there are many other wonderful Beings that stand ready and willing to assist us in our mortal life.

Spirit Guides for Every Person

The spiritual realms of the Greater Reality are teeming with conscious life. Everything has a spiritual form before it has a physical one: you existed as a spiritual being before you were born and you will continue on as a spiritual being when this life is over.  Indeed you are a Soul first, and a body, second. In your pre-life existence you laid out a plan, with help from your Spirit Guides, about who your parents would be; your genetic potential; your life path, and the fundamental purpose for this lifetime. It was in this pre-earth planning stage that you also decided upon, and contracted with, the Spirit Guides who serve you in this physical incarnation.

Every person is born with divinely appointed spiritual beings that watch over them, their Spirit Guides. There are differing opinions about the number of Guides each person has, but since human beings claim to do the counting, it’s best not to work yourself up over how many you have. Suffice it to say, you have exactly the number of Guides that you need, at any given time.

Spirit Guides are present to help you with specific life tasks. They also guide you to make decisions and to understand personal truth.  Most of the time they work behind the scene and go unrecognized, but they are ever-present to help, teach, and protect you.

Multiple Spirit Guides for Every Need

There are many kinds of Spirit Guides. Some Spirit Guides have a human spiritual form because they have lived lifetimes as a human being. Other Guides have never lived a life on earth, but may have a human-like spiritual form because the humanoid animal is not exclusive to planet Earth: other planets in the universe also have human life forms. Guides that have lived lives as human beings are especially equipped to help you in your life because they know full well the challenges of human existence. Whatever your Guide’s personal background while they were once in a body, they are with you now for a specific purpose related to your life’s mission and Soul purpose.

Spirit Guides can also be ancestral spirits, or those people who are in your genetic lineage who lived good lives and have had good deaths, who have elected to watch over you during your earthly walk. There is a caveat to this family arrangement, however: not every relative that you love who has crossed over is going to be your Guide. Chances are, if you’ve lived a lifetime with someone here, they will not be a Spirit Guide to you when they cross over. (Deceased relatives, however, may try to help you from the Other Side, if given permission and oversight from your Spirit Guides.)

A few of you reading this article have actually been a Spirit Guide to others during your existence between lives! While this may surprise you, just know that as friends help each other in the physical incarnation, we can also help those in our spiritual family when we are not in our bodies.

Some Spirit Guides are of cosmic origin. While it is unusual to encounter such Guides, having one does not make you more special than anyone else. There is always a karmic reason why you have a certain Guide, so be careful about feeling proud of yourself for having some Guide that seems “higher” than another. There is no such thing as “higher” or “better” or “more powerful” when it comes to Spirit Guides! One is not “better” than another and when we get ourselves into the murky area of “specialness” we have wandered out of Divine territory and gotten ourselves into the darker aspects of existence. The Divine is absolutely “no respecter of persons.” Never forget that because it’s a truth that never changes and there are no exceptions.

Other Spirit Guides can take the form of animal or plant spirits and they often do. These spiritual volunteers offer themselves to share their particular gifts and insights at those times in your life when you need to develop certain qualities to get through a situation.  You have at least several Animal Spirit Guides present with you at birth and they stand at the ready to help you when you call upon them for spiritual strength, wisdom, and protection.  Like other Spirit Guides, some of the Animal Guides will come and go throughout your life according to your need but the ones who come in with you at birth are there for the duration of your life.

What Spirit Guides Will…and Will Not…Do

Even among people who believe in Spirit Guides, there is considerable confusion and misperception about what Spirit Guides will and will not do for their human charge. Spirit Guides care about the big cosmic picture and the journey of your Soul through time.  They are not so concerned about giving you winning lotto numbers or finding a parking place for you every time you’re in a hurry. They are not our servants, even though they serve us. The many people who look at their Guides as giving them “a leg up” on the world often miss the deeper spiritual connections to their Guides that would result in true personal growth.

Guides use our thoughts and feelings to communicate with us. Although less frequent, Guides can certainly influence physical reality in order to help us if need be.

Some examples of what Spirit Guides do for us:

1. Protect your body and protect your energy field;

2.  Encourage life change when it’s needed;

3.  Help connect you to important people or situations in your life that are in alignment with your purpose and mission;

4.  Prompt you, and whisper thoughts of encouragement, comfort, and positive direction. They support and help you in times of sorrow and illness;

5.  Warn of danger or a bad decision;

6.  Inspire your thoughts, motivate you, and bring out latent talent or improvement of existing talents.

7.  Give you answers and truth that you seek, through thoughts and feelings, while occasionally giving signs and signals in the physical world.

What Spirit Guides will never do:

1.   Make decisions for you, or order you around;

2.   Tell you to do something harmful to another being or to yourself;

3.   Give you negative thoughts, make you feel anxious or worried, or say negative things about another person;

4.   Tell you a lie or ask you to lie; anything related to a deception is not from a Spirit Guide;

5.   Speak nonsense and/or use wordy and elaborate language;

6.   Brag about themselves or otherwise inflate themselves;

7.   Flatter you or inflate your importance. As an example, Spirit Guides will not tell you are a Christ or something similar.  These kinds of messages come from the darker side of existence, including the shadow side of the human psyche, but they do not come from Goodness.

As a clairvoyant who works with Spirit Guides every day, I can tell you that we arose from a cosmic sea of love, and on this very difficult journey through time we are attended to by the most beautiful and loving beings imaginable. These amazing beings are spiritual entities that are wise and loving and loyal. They never tire of helping us. We are never without them and we are never alone. Spirit Guides are the mighty allies that get us through when we think we won’t make it. They are an army of Light that parts the darkness when we lose our way, because they have promised to keep us close to the Divine Light in our own hearts. Remember to thank them, listen for that “still, small, voice” of goodness, strength, and encouragement from within yourself, for it is them holding you near, because they love you without limit…they always have and they always will.

11 Steps to Protect Your Innocent Child from Negative Energy

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of People

In a previous article, I wrote about the very serious difficulties of exposing your priceless and beautiful children to a psychopathic and degraded world. As a psychic clairvoyant, I’m going to tell you how you can protect your child’s innocent energy field. This is useful spiritual information for anyone who has a small child in their charge. Useful, for certain…but for some of you, the juxtaposition of spiritual fact against the 3-D material reality of the world we live in will seem old-fashioned, perhaps disturbingly defiant and even impractical.

A spiritual lifestyle, needed to help your child stay energetically safe, is becoming a somewhat rebellious lifestyle because it challenges the consensus reality and many other blanket assumptions of our society. While religious fundamentalism is on the increase and society continues to unravel along with that, the awareness of spiritual truth and the way out of our mess is becoming more on the fringe. So, any determination to help a child stay energetically safe and achieve his or her life’s potential is going to require that the parent or guardian take a much deeper look at where society (and the consensus belief system) is taking our children. A spiritual lifestyle is not complicated, unlike the highly convenient but very complicated society that enslaves people to its increasingly stressful, draconian demands.

An Overview of the Soul-Sick Territory that Surrounds You and the Children You Love

More adults and children are manifesting the byproducts of stress caused by an overcomplicated and spiritually disconnected social order. We are sick in our Souls. It’s even harder on kids, whose inborn innocence comes under attack at very early ages, and who are driven forward without having first been taught to know themselves or their connection to Spirit. And driven they are: driven to achieve, driven to mature, driven to compete…on and on it goes. There is even talk of placing children in outside education as early as two years of age, which is nothing but wresting kids away from early family influence: in truth, education has nothing to do with it. This is about indoctrination. It’s about the shaping of future adults who will be molded into conformity and unquestioning compliance, beginning not long after infancy. It’s about the cold, calculating State making itself a child’s primary care-giver and their chief authority once they become adults.

Society, whether you are dealing with government, schools, or any number of other institutions, expects people to conform without questioning–and children are most certainly expected to conform. It’s now frequent for children to pressure their parents to conform to social norms as well, having been taught in school that personal adult behaviors such as tobacco use are “very bad” or that not recycling the garbage is “bad” or that global warming is caused by Dad mowing the lawn. So, what’s wrong with that, you wonder?

A lot. While on the surface this may appear to have good intention on the part of the system that shapes your children, it’s a millimeter deep. Not only are many of the suppositions questionable when viewed from an informed point of view, look a little further under the surface of these intentions and you will see that education is an important component of the larger social system that is structured to control people’s lives, beginning very early in life. Those in power, who implement these strategies, have deemed that it’s appropriate for children to lecture their parents regarding their lifestyles knowing full well that this will ultimately undermine parental authority and children’s respect. In point of fact, children are viewed by social planners as living clay, they are considered as property of the “global village” and they are taught only what is necessary to service the social machine. (Some adults who are aware of what’s happening call this the “dumbing down” of kids; an accurate description even if the phrase is, ironically, poor English.)

Consequently, our children are reprimanded and labeled as problematic when they question authority or think outside the box. They are not given permission to disagree with the memes…the prevalent, conformist ideas that the system wants people to adopt as fact. Thanks in part to the DSM IV (The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the Holy Writ of the psychiatric industry) children (and adults) who question authority or who are argumentative and free-thinking, could have “oppositional defiant disorder” or “ODD”.  In the vein of everything being upside down in the world, now mainstream therapeutics can label a free-thinking child as having a mental illness, or label a free-thinking adult a “conspiracy nut”–as in “nutty”, delusional, and mentally ill.

For those who are waking up to the nightmare the world has become, it’s a bitter irony that the same system which claims to care about children ignores a plethora of authentic issues that if addressed, would give children the opportunities in life they most certainly deserve. We live in a society that gives lip service to the welfare of children, but that acts in countless ways that damage children very much. –Often irreparably.

Building a Beautiful Future from a Wrecked Social Order

Many parents, particularly very young parents, have also been shaped by the same society that is now molding their children, and these parents don’t have any idea of the many ways their children’s physical, psychological and spiritual welfare is being damaged. For one example, (and there are many) most children today have cell phones, as do their parents, despite the fact that there is abundant research which shows that radiation exposure from cell phones causes brain cancer, and that children are especially vulnerable to this. –Not to mention the harmful spiritual effects on the human aura caused by constant electromagnetic radiation! So, then: why do we give our kids cellular phones? Because the social current has carried us away. We go lurching along a raging river of social conformity and hypnotic consumption, believing it will be okay even when evidence is contrary. And we do these harmful things because we surrender to what is advertised…and because “everybody else is doing it.”

To have a joyful and productive life, to have good spiritual energy and good physical/mental health, we have to stop “going along to get along.” If you want what’s good for you, stop following what everybody else is doing. And teach your kids the same. The number one rule for protecting your child’s spiritual energy is to teach them individuality and to back away from situations and circumstances that are harmful, even if their peers and society-at-large choose to be ignorant and oblivious. There is NO “safety in numbers”, but safety in standing apart from the crowd when it is necessary to do so.

In a more perfect world, adopting a healthy and spiritual lifestyle would happen with greater ease, but today it’s increasingly difficult. There is a precipitous slide happening in economic equality, which imposes limits on a child’s economic and career potential as well as their physical health. There are many families comprised of kids from one mother and several different fathers, which can influence a child’s psychological make-up. And there are millions of parents who are still psychologically children themselves, because they did not have a chance to mature before having babies. Children who are born to under-developed parents experience limitations in their emotional, psychological, and spiritual development. This gives rise to the intergenerational stunting of human potential, a primary cause of the certain devolution of the human condition happening now before our eyes.

So what are we to do? How do we really help the children of our world??

Love Has Everything to Do With It

In all of these paragraphs, there has been no mention of love. That’s because when we examine what society thinks about kids, the word “love” just isn’t in the mix. Pay attention to what’s said about children’s welfare, and you’ll see that the so-called “authorities” over children don’t talk about love. They would be uncomfortable or embarrassed …how “unprofessional”…and yet, love is the number one need of every child on the planet. Ask yourself this: does a child receive love from those around them who are afraid to talk about it? Can someone who is uncomfortable with the word, really understand love and give it?

Why have we become so uncomfortable with the word “love”? Why have we, as a society, become so clinical and detached from love, from nature, and from Spirit? How did we get to our present state of looking at children as a statistic, as a test score, as a badge of honor for someone who smugly takes credit for the way they turned out–or conversely, as a burden or a social problem? How did we, as adults, manage to lose our way so badly, that society’s children have almost no hope of ever having the kind of life we say we want for them?

We are lost because we have allowed ourselves to be swept away by a deeply dysfunctional system, filled with materialism, disrespect, fear, injustice, hypocrisy, corruption, selfishness, deceit, vulgarity, arrogance, violence, an infinity of superficialities, and unquestioning conformity. We no longer honor the sanctity of all life, we no longer respect the chain of life, including respect for the aged, and we no longer understand the nature of Spirit and our spiritual connection to one another. We have fallen for every substitute and have tossed away what is real. We got religion and we left our Souls on the side of the road.

The Energy of Life and the Sanctity of the Child

Most people don’t know where life comes from. Some think it’s simply a process of cell division, or that they have something called a Soul because the preacher told them so, (without knowing what a Soul really is, mind you) but in any event…most people just know they’re here. That’s about it!

No wonder we’ve gotten ourselves in a mess.

When a woman gives birth to a child, she calls that baby, “My child.” Everybody knows that, of course, but what everybody doesn’t know is that the spiritual energy that gave rise to the creation of that baby’s body belongs to no one. It is a free-will agent, and it chose its parents for multiple metaphysical and biological reasons. Children, in a sane world, would be deeply respected for the unique Spiritual Beings that they are. They have their own mission and purpose for being here. And that mission is not for the purpose of being a parental prize…or a drone for the political state.

Our children do not belong to us. They are not our property. They do not belong to society. They belong to LIFE because they ARE life. They are a trust. They are a charge. They are an opportunity for a parent’s personal growth. They are hard work and an unmatched responsibility. We should know that they may, or may not, be connected to us spiritually: they may seem disconnected from us all our lives. Children may choose to become what we don’t like or approve of. Conversely, they can grow into people we are proud of and still not be good to their parents somewhere down the road. The bottom line is that when we have a child, we roll the dice.

To be worthy of a child is to know the sanctity of that child’s individual purpose. To support the sanctity of a child’s life is to understand that all children, like you, are Souls with a body. They are made of an eternal Light; of energy, frequency, and Consciousness that is a deep-seated part of the Divine. To know this, is to be reverent for the life that stands before you, whether or not you understand who or what they will become.

Your duty is to help them the best you can and from the beginning of their lives, they need simple demonstrations of love and spiritual guidance. They need to be taught to be themselves and allowed to express their innate gifts, without being molded by social norms.Society does not know what’s best for your child: you were given the privilege of that special insight, as a parent.You just have to tap into it…and trust it.

Is Your Child’s Aura Healthy?

At birth, a fully mature spirit emerges into the world, housed in an infant body. The spiritual body itself has an electromagnetic force field, otherwise called an aura. A child’s aura is a living portrait of its Soul, constructed of pure and incredibly beautiful Light. It is the energy of the Eternal Being of the infant and holds all memory of its existence, in this life, in other lifetimes, and from the initial point of Creation when that child’s spirit first emerged from the Source of All Life.

In very young children, the predominant colors of the aura speak of the child’s spiritual and personal mission in this lifetime—their purpose for birth on this planet. Divine guardians are very close to small children, very near their auric force field.  We are all born with clean auras and a close connection to Divine Source, but as a child matures, traumas begin to be reflected in the originally-pure aura. A serious bump on the head, fighting and screaming of family members, very loud discordant music, a painful case of constipation…all of these things cause a temporary disruption in the energy field. This will alter the colors for a bit. The change in color is a reflection of a drop in the frequency of the auric vibration (the rate at which light oscillates) and this drop in frequency will lower auric defenses to a greater or lesser degree. Lessened auric defenses mean that harmful energies can enter a person’s aura and cause psychic, emotional or physical imbalance, much like bacteria and viruses attack the physical cells when an immune system is compromised, thereby causing a physical infection.

Damage to the aura is cumulative, unless corrections are made along the way. This manifests in physicality, for instance, as a gradual deterioration of a child’s “psychological profile” or a child’s physical health.

Negative energy that gets rooted in a child’s aura can cause symptoms such as panic attacks, phobias, depression, withdrawal, violent behavior, unmanageable behavior that stands apart from normal developmental rebellion, hyperactivity, and a multitude of other problems, including physical symptoms. If a child’s problems cannot be diagnosed, chances are there is an energetic issue–and even diagnosed conditions often have a hidden energetic cause.

Eleven Steps You Can Take to Protect Your Child’s Energy Field

You are here because you want to know how to protect a child from the hazards of the world and all the negative energy associated with it. Now, the reason I’ve written so much about social conditioning before we get to the heart of this article is because you must understand what opposes you. You must be willing to go against the current of prevalent forces, if you want to spiritually help a child. For additional information about protecting a spiritual energy field, please  be sure to read my articles, here, hereherehereherehere, and here.

1. Limit your child’s exposure to mass media. Television programs, movies, popular music (be especially mindful that so-called “rap” is very destructive to the energy fields of all things), and Internet are all geared to shape young minds into the negative amalgam of clinical psychopathy (cold, heartless, deceitful, narcissistic, and harmful behavior) that society today is largely comprised of.

2. Expose your child to nature on a daily basis. Get them out of their rooms, out of the house and into constructive outside activities. Take them on nature walks. Take them on picnics and other secluded outings. Teach them how to grow plants, care for animals, and be at home in an outdoor environment. Have them play outside…without cell phones in their pockets!! If you live in a city apartment, fill your rooms and patios with plants and living things, and take your children into nature every chance you get.

3. Don’t allow your children to be involved in adult drama. Don’t carry on about your problems in front of your kids. Don’t say negative things about other people. Don’t involve them in your relationship problems. Don’t treat them like adults because they are not!

4.  Don’t get drunk or take mind-altering drugs around your children! These actions can severely damage your own energy field and will make your children very susceptible to negative energies when they are around you. If you have a problem with substance abuse, get help and make some changes. If you don’t do it for yourself, do it for your kids.

5.  Be sexually responsible. This is a topic that is difficult to present, particularly given the open and promiscuous climate of our time and the astonishing sexual hang-ups of our society. There is way too much repressed guilt about sexuality and I don’t want to add to that. At the same time, you deserve to know the facts. Also, what I’m going to tell you is not about religious judgment, which is a negative energy in itself. What people are never told, is that there are negative spiritual forces that act upon human lives and that can infiltrate the auras of people who have casual sex, without love. Sexual energy is sacred, but it’s not treated that way in our society. When we defile the sacred, we open ourselves to soul sickness and negative energy. Because you and your children are energetically linked, irresponsible sexual conduct exposes your child to a plethora of unhealthy energies. No matter what the world tells you, casual sex is not good for your Spirit and this will affect your children.

6.  Please don’t expose children to filthy language. There is very powerful energy in the sounds of words. Ugly language has terrible, dark energy. Learn to say “Shoot!” instead of “Sh-t!” and “Froggle!” instead of “F–k!” Your own energy field will be much cleaner, and you will protect your children from the emanations of darkness that you are sure to emit when you use angry, demeaning, or destructive language.

7.  Tell the truth, teach the truth, and demand the truthBe the truth. This is so fundamental it stands alone. Where there is truth, there is Light. Where there is deception and dishonesty, there is darkness. Your kids will follow what you do: so, are you honest and truthful?

8. Live generously and teach your children the same. A generous, unselfish heart is a beautiful sight to the clairvoyant eye. Surround your children with an environment of mutual cooperation, unselfish behavior, and a concern for other life: people, animals, plants, and the earth itself. Teach them to be considerate, respectful, giving, and unselfish. Your example leads the way.

9.  Choose carefully the people you allow to have access to your children. Don’t ever leave your kids with someone you don’t know very well, and do not leave them alone in the presence of people who are deeply negative.

10. Teach your child energetic protection. From a very early age, teach your child to see the warm, happy, and loving Sun in their minds, sending dancing sunbeams down all around them. Have them do this before they sleep, before school or at the start of their day. Have them make this picture in their minds when they are sad, afraid, or troubled. Have them make a big sunny space all around them, as far as their little arms can reach, and tell them this is a special place that only holy beings and good people can come into. Do this with them, and by the time they are in school, they will have a powerful defense against negative energy, all the time. Tell them they have your permission to avoid people that make them feel uncomfortable.

11. Love, love, love!!! This is the first rule and the last rule for positive energy. It trumps all the others. Show your children lots of love and show them how to love in return. Be supportive, never abusive. Never treat them harshly. Never show disrespect. Some parents treat their kids like they treat a dog that gets in the way, ripping apart not just the psyche of their child, but the spiritual aura as well .No matter how stressed or upset you get, one glance at your child should remind you of the one thing that is really important in this world: love.

No parent is perfect because no human being is perfect. Falling short of a code of conduct is going to happen, but at least you can have a code and do your best to live by it. Being a parent can make you a much better person, which is an important objective of those pure spirits that offer to inhabit bodies and come to be with you in this lifetime.

Children are about love. See that. Look softly and long into their little child eyes. They need you to love them back. They need you to help them find their way safely through this dark world…while they help you find your way back to the Divine.

When you need guidance about protecting your child’s energy, give me a call. I will take a clairvoyant look and give specific recommendations that can help. It’s a privilege to help you.

Guidance and Protection of Special Children in Trying Times

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleBeing a responsible, wise parent in today’s world is anything but easy. While it’s never been easy, there is now a collective trend in society and education to interfere with parental decisions and the wise upbringing of children.

In education, there is a concerted movement to turn otherwise unique children into conformist cookie-cutter cutouts: void of creativity; stripped of individuality; deprived of the ability to think for themselves as they are trained in the ways of social planners and servants of the State. People who are educated beyond their intelligence–people who are without common sense or sound mental health–are shaping the destinies of children without a modicum of necessary restraint.

In society, children are conditioned to have no awareness of their deeper purpose in life or the greater potential that exists within them. Instead, they are influenced to consume material goods and to absorb themselves in baser physical needs without any thought of others or the long-term consequences of their socially-driven choices. Children are increasingly sexualized, medicated, forced to mature too early, and—for those confined to urban environments—removed from the magnificence of the natural world, one of life’s greatest teachers. They are immersed in all things artificial, vacuous, and destructive.

These are onerous times for innocent, little human beings. Dark times…the worst of times.

And, while many parents who can afford it are choosing private education or home schooling over public school indoctrination, there still remains a profound problem. At some point, you will have to turn your exceptional kids out into a dull-witted, psychopathic, and trollish society. How will they cope? What will become of them? How will they resist this rising tidal wave of unabashed ignorance amidst technological advancement, and…how will their true potential survive the roiling black waters of a pandemic soul sickness, certain to wash over them as they try to make their way in life?

Trying to rear a raw-material little human being into a healthy, compassionate, conscientious and educated human adult has never been so difficult, in all of written history. There are expansive, critical choices that confront every parent, concealed within the micro scale of their children’s day-to-day lives. In the small acts of daily living, in the seemingly unimportant decisions—like what is best for a child to eat and how much time they should spend at the tv/computer or how much time they share with significant adults—a long-term future for the child is being forged. We cannot be careless in these decisions, even though an escalation of time and daily pressures work mightily against conscientious adults who have children in their care.

And, rearing a child is not just about the future of that child alone: the future of all those yet-unknown people that a child will one day associate with, are destined to be influenced by the future-adult that is being molded today. Every person on this planet has a profound influence on every other person around them. There is a chain-reaction consequence in this world that begins with kind of person you are and the life you choose to live. Children are the future, and their future lives will determine the future of our planet. If you are the parent of a small child, you hold the future of the world in your arms.

What is your child destined to become? What is his/her greatest potential? How do you guide them and prepare them? Are you teaching them what they must know? How will they find happiness in life? How will they overcome obstacles? How will they handle hardships? How do you keep them safe, off the street, and out of trouble? Who is that little person in front of you? What is their Spirit doing here? Why did this child choose you to be their parent?  Do you have a problem with your kid that you can’t seem to solve? What are their karmic lessons in life? How do you train them to overcome the world?

Not all children are equal in their innate potential, but one thing is certain: there is a wondrous escalation of brilliant Spirits taking human form on this planet. They are called by some as Indigo children, Crystal children, Starseed, and assorted other labels meant to reveal their innate luminosity. These exceptionally gifted and naturally spiritual children have come here to make a difference for the inhabitants of Earth. They need special care and their rearing is both a tremendous privilege and a consuming challenge.

As an experienced and capable clairvoyant, my work with parents is my greatest and most important calling. I am here to help you understand your child’s spiritual potential and how to protect and preserve their core spiritual identity in an insane world that is bent on draining the soulful life and inner light right out of them. When you need help with your precious child, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Do Animals Have Consciousness? What a Clairvoyant, Stephen Hawking, and Your Good Heart Knows

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleAs a professional clairvoyant and spiritual minister, people have often asked me if animals have souls. They are asking if animals have a spiritual source and a lasting spiritual essence. They ask if their pets will go to heaven.

Why Do We Wonder If Animals Have Souls?

The people who ask these questions have invariably loved an animal in their lives. They seek an answer because the vast majority of human beings have been taught that animals, as well as their pets, are lesser beings than humans. Official religion–which has been the Belief-Maker and Taskmaster over spiritually subservient humans across the planet–has indoctrinated people that human beings are above animals on creation’s ladder. They’ve been told that humans are God the Father’s “children” but that animals are not. People have been taught that animals were made by God for us to herd and dominate…to name, to tame, and to kill…at whim or will.

They have likely been taught that animals will not go to heaven because, they say, “dumb” animals do not have souls and are not conscious beings.

Now, before I address this question about animal souls on a spiritual level, I need to point out that for many people, a spiritual answer to the question about animals having souls won’t be enough.  For them, it just becomes just another heated argument for which there is no “tangible proof.” (Please read, Spiritual Reality: Why Millions of People Deny its Existence for further insight into our collective fixation on materialism.)  Enough argument: our arguments over God and questions about spiritual “facts” have caused untold suffering and death on this planet, for human and non-human life forms. There has been more destruction in the name of God (and associated imperialistic pursuits) than for any other reason, and before humankind destroys itself and the entirety of Earth, it’s time we all recognize that divisive religious beliefs have been the primary causation of unrelenting, diabolical torment on this planet. Even more than what we do to each other, animals have gotten the hardest kick of the human boot, far and wide.

Considering where society’s entrenched beliefs have taken us, we might want to put the blame where it belongs: we’ve been blinded by our profound ignorance. We all want the world to change for the better and to have that happen, we have to see where our ideas have taken us; we have to systematically discard all those dogmatic beliefs that cause us harm, layer, after layer…after layer of them.

People who are spiritual, not just religious, will likely tell you they feel deeply connected to animals and that they recognize all life on this planet is Conscious, including the Earth itself. But, for a moment, let’s suspend the spiritual viewpoint about animal souls and take a look at what our loving experiences tell us about animals. Then, let’s take a good, hard look at recent scientific findings about animal consciousness.

Evidence is Everywhere

Very recently, there was a story about a man who was walking his dog along the beach, when the two of them came upon a dead dog in the sand. The man was astonished when his own dog went over to the dead dog and began to bury its corpse. Using its nose, the living dog proceeded to cover the dead dog with sand.

This behavioral display should give humans who claim animals have no consciousness or feelings some pause.  On the other hand, people who have deeply loved “pets” won’t be too surprised by this, having experienced the
love and devotion their animals have extended to them. Many of you reading this could share your own stories of your mystical and loving connections to the animals in your life.

The Cambridge Declaration of Consciousness in Non-Human Animals

For the scientific-minded who are left-brained skeptical about the presence of animal awareness, you need to know that an international team of scientists has come together to proclaim that all animals are conscious and aware to the extent that humans are. The Cambridge Declaration of Consciousness in Non-Human Animals, signed by such notables as Stephen Hawking, reads in part as follows:

The Cambridge Declaration on Consciousness

On …July 7, 2012,  a prominent international  group  of  cognitive  neuroscientists,neuropharmacologists, neurophysiologists, neuroanatomists and computational neuroscientists gathered at The University of  Cambridge to  reassess the neurobiological substrates of  conscious experience and related behaviors in human and non-human animals…the following observations  can be stated unequivocally:

  • The field of Consciousness research is rapidly evolving. Abundant new techniques and strategies for human and non-human animal research have been developed. ..
  • … subcortical neural networks aroused during affective states in humans are also  critically important for generating emotional behaviors in animals. Artificial arousal of the same brain regions generates corresponding behavior and feeling states in both humans and non-human animals.  Wherever in the brain one evokes instinctual emotional behaviors in non-human animals, many of the ensuing behaviors are consistent with experienced feeling states, including those internal states that are rewarding and punishing. Deep brain stimulation of these systems in humans can  also  generate similar affective states….Young human and nonhuman animals without neocortices retain these brain-mind functions…
  • Birds appear to offer, in their behavior, neurophysiology, and neuroanatomy a striking case of parallel evolution of consciousness. (Emphasis mine.) Evidence of near human-like levels of consciousness has been most dramatically observed in African grey parrots. Mammalian and avian emotional networks and cognitive microcircuitries appear to be far more homologous than previously thought. Moreover, certain species of birds have been found to exhibit neural sleep patterns similar to those of mammals, including REM sleep and, as was demonstrated in zebra finches,  neurophysiological patterns, previously thought to require a mammalian neocortex. Magpies in particular have been shown to exhibit striking similarities to humans, great apes, dolphins, and elephants in studies of mirror self-recognition.
  • In humans, the effect of certain hallucinogens appears to be associated with a disruption in cortical feedforward and feedback processing.  Pharmacological interventions in non-humananimals with compounds known to affect conscious behavior in humans can lead to similar perturbations in behavior in non-human animals…

We declare the following: “The absence of a neocortex does not appear to preclude an organism from experiencing affective states. Convergent evidence indicates that  non-human  animals have the neuroanatomical,  neurochemical, and neurophysiological substrates of conscious states along with the capacity to exhibit intentional behaviors. Consequently, the weight of evidence  indicates that humans are not unique in possessing the neurological substrates that generate consciousness. Nonhuman animals, including all mammals and birds, and many other creatures, including octopuses, also possess these neurological substrates.”

Evolution Through Living Ancient Knowledge

As so often the case, new science is barely beginning to acknowledge what the ancient peoples knew in their everyday life: animals have awareness that parallels the awareness in humans. To the ancients, to the aboriginals who gave thanks to an animal before needing to slay it for food…animals were fully worthy of respect and reverence. Further, they saw the human relationship with animals as a sacred spiritual balance and a cooperative Soul contract between variant physical forms of One Divine Consciousness.

And that’s really the way it is. Yes, animals have a spiritual essence, a soul if you will, and they have a path of Divine purpose and growth, not one whit less than the human animal on this planet. They reincarnate, they evolve, they learn, they love, they feel, they speak, they know. And their energy/consciousness lives on after their passing, same as we.

When we learn to love and reverence animals unconditionally, we will learn to treat each other with love and respect.  As seen by the Native Americans and other aboriginal cultures, we are all children of the great Earth Mother, made of her elements, and we are all brief travelers here for but a short time. In the lost traditions and knowledge of the ancient ones, let us also begin to walk in the ways of wisdom and peace.

As always, if you require clairvoyant help, even with an animal, schedule a session with me and we’ll get the answers you need. In the meantime, remember that “dog” spelled another way, spells “god” and give the animals of this world your love; and every day, give them the tremendous respect they deserve.

The Road of Reality is a Head Trip: Are You Sure You Know Where You’re Going?

“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one.” Albert Einstein

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleOn this third installment of On Telephones, UFOs, and Spirit Guides: Close Communications of the Spiritual Kind, we’re going to look beyond our “mechanical universe” ideas that have us hooked on our five senses and have given us incorrect ideas about the nature of reality and spiritual communication. The higher dimensions of Spirit are not bound by physicality or by time and because most of us don’t understand this, we limit our access to the truths of life.

So, tell me…is your Spirit real? Well, yes, you may believe it, but can you prove it with your five senses? Ahhh! Therein lurks the ever-gnawing doubt that most people struggle with!

How about the air you breathe? You can’t see it, either…but, you believe it’s real. That’s because when you don’t have invisible air to breathe your body will tell you! You experience air as being something real, but you can’t feel it in your hands. Nevertheless, it’s everywhere all at once and it’s invisible. Despite the fact you can’t see it, no doubt we accept, for a fact, that air is a reality.

So then–why is it okay to accept some invisible, incorporeal things as real…but not others?  Why is it that people have such a difficult time believing in a Spiritual reality that is everywhere at once and can’t be seen with physical eyes but can be experienced in the same way that you experience air? The answer can be found in the content of one’s education and subsequently, our beliefs about what is—and what is not—real.

So, what is reality, to you? Is it your car that you can see and get inside of? Is it the computer keyboard in front of you that you can touch? Is it the food on the stove that you can smell and taste? Is it the chair you sit in, that you can feel?

What about your thoughts? You can’t see, smell, taste, touch, or otherwise validate their independent existence. Are your thoughts, real, then?

When you really think about it, reality is a head trip. In every way imaginable.

Humanity’s Enslavement to Materialism and Time: a Prison of Our Own Making

Until humanity can expand its awareness of what is real, we will remain spirits trapped in bodies, unaware of our spiritual nature, our spiritual power, our place in existence, and what life is about. We will remain lost, bound to believe we are hunks of flesh that die along a certain point within the relentless passage of time: marching numbly, inexorably to “the end”, “finis”.

Time is a whip-yielding slave-driver in today’s world: you know that as much as anybody. Work schedules, appointments, due dates, holiday mayhem, closings, openings, traffic jams, alarms, calendars, hairless heads and bald tires, wrinkles, bad joints, sags, bags, rust, breakage, stress, pressure and the deterioration of everything…these are the gifts that time gives to you.

Now imagine, for a moment, what it would be like without all that slavery to time. Go into your mind and imagine an earlier time when people got up at dawn and went to bed at dark. And there was no living by the clock, no panic about being late, and no worry about what will happen tomorrow, just being with the day, in the rhythm of the planet. Now that’s what people like to do on their vacations but it used to be a way of life, when humans were not ab-so-freaking-lutely obsessed with time.

Fortunately, sanity has not taken a total exit from the world stage: there are still remnants of aboriginal cultures that don’t define time like modern people do. Native cultures have what they call Dream Time, or simply the Now. Their understanding of time is closely connected to their non-linear spirituality and a sense of oneness with what they call “Great Spirit” and “all our relations.”

This is the Fourth Dimension, Not the Third—And Time is Not Your Jailer, You Are

Just as reality is not mechanical and as I am soon to explain, not solid, we need to know that time is not an all-powerful master that limits our existence and signals our end. The Greater Spiritual Reality is not bound by physicality, third dimensional configurations or by time. As spiritual beings, neither are we.

This is not the stuff we were taught about in school (a social system that doesn’t educate as much as it engineers the mind to embrace mediocrity and to parrot accepted factoids). So, according to two thousand-year-old Euclidian geometry, we were taught we live in a three dimensional reality where objects consist of length, width, and depth (or height.) Euclid was a Greek mathematician whose discoveries–and those of others, including Newton’s theories of a clock-work universe–has led people to believe that everything in the universe has only three dimensions, is made of matter, and functions like a machine. Most people also view time as a progression of events along a forward/backward line, a constant and independent reality that’s separate from 3rd dimensional space.

While we perceive reality in this antiquated manner, this viewpoint is not an accurate reflection of what reality is. As briefly mentioned in the last post about why millions of people deny spiritual reality, Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity discovered that time and space combines to form the Fourth Dimension, or “the space-time continuum”.

Einstein discovered that physical human beings are residents of the Fourth Dimension, not the Third because the 4th dimension of Time and 3-dimensional space go together. Time is not a self-existent constant in the universe: there is no big clockwork in the sky that marks the passage of time. In fact, the so-called passage of time on other planets (as we choose to measure it here on earth) is influenced by their particular gravitational forces and thus interplanetary time is different from earth time…even very different.

In addition, we have learned that the passage of time is relative in every possible way. It is relative to space, and it is relative to the one who experiences it.

What does that mean, exactly?

It means that time is a relative experience because although, you, as a person, can experience time, time itself does not exist outside of your perception of it. Although we ride time like a train through our life experience, and although it seems to take us from past to present to future, time is a servant of the human experience. It is not our master. Time is a tool that enables us to process the physical journey we’re experiencing. And like all tools, we can put it down once in awhile and live without it. We can use our Consciousness to go back in time, forward in time, or experience non-time, which is what we do when we become spiritually aware.

You experience the relativity of time every time you lose track of it, when it slows down on a bad day and speeds up while you are having fun. During periods of psychic insight or spiritual communication time is suspended, because in the Greater Reality, the past, present, and future are all happening NOW. This is absolutely an imperative understanding when you try to heal your life from past wounds, or have a spiritual healing for your body and create good experiences in your life. All connection to the Divine occurs in the NOW, because the NOW is all there is. The NOW is All-That-Is. The NOW is where you connect to the Divine Source (which is just another man-made name for what many people believe they’re talking about, when they say “God”).

I’ve figured out a way to help you understand the relativity of time by asking you a question.

When you look at yourself in the mirror and see new wrinkles or physical signs of aging, have you ever felt shocked?

Now I know that young readers will have to wait for the illusory passage of time to have that experience, but mature readers are going to know what I’m referring to. People sometimes feel shocked when they see the signs of aging in the mirror. That’s because inside of ourselves, we are timeless. Inside of ourselves, our perception of ourselves is unchanging. We’re as old as existence itself and spiritually we exist within the dimensions of cosmic non-time. Our internal, spiritual selves still feel the same as they always have despite what the calendar says. We feel, inside, like we are suspended in constancy outside of time. And that’s because we are.

We are all ageless, eternal beings, unbound by time. In Reality, there is only the Now. In cosmic truth, everything is happening at once. Since trying to process infinite happenings with our physical brains would give us a very bad case of synaptic overload and massive schizophrenia on steroids, we experience All-That-Is in micro-bites. So we can make sense of our life experience, the instantaneous Whole of reality is filtered through our faculty of perception and broken into infinitesimal, linear segments that we call time.

Think of how an entire movie is made, frame by frame. We experience the cosmic movie of life in that way, frame by frame, perceiving the frames in our personal movie as time. Our experience of time is nothing more than a slow motion thought in the Mind of God.

–Which brings me to the hummingbird. Did you know that they move so fast that when they see us, we appear to them to be moving in slow motion? Hummingbirds perceive and experience time very differently than we do.

Then there’s the dog: in one year of our time, they live seven. Do you think that your dog perceives a year the same way you do? You’re gone for 8 hours at work and the dog is hysterically, slobbery joyful to see you. That’s because in your dog’s perception, the eight hours that you’ve been gone has been over two days!

And let’s not ignore the mayfly: poor thing lives 24 hours. Gets born, has a few dozen weddings, a few thousand babies, retires from its job at the pond and in 24 hours, it’s “curtains” for the mayfly. What the mayfly perceives as a lifetime…is about a day to you.

So as you can see, time is a persistent illusion that is experienced in a wholly relative way. This understanding is necessary to expand your mind to the greater possibilities of your existence. This helps you become spiritually aware of the Greater Reality that you cannot see, but that you are an inseparable part of.

For instance, you may have psychic ability, but there is no way you can consistently access and use your gift unless you understand that something doesn’t have to concrete or immediate to be real. You may be seeking a greater spiritual connection in your life: again, without understanding that time does not exist in the spiritual dimensions and that here, in your body, time is a perception and not a hard fact, you will meet with serious obstacles in your pursuit. Perhaps you want to be better at meditation, maybe you want to become a qualified spiritual medium, an energy healer, a spiritual leader/teacher, or to receive personal spiritual guidance in your life. All of these efforts at accessing the spiritual dimension of your life cannot be attained without understanding that reality is not limited by time or physical senses. When we realize that, we unlock the door of our spiritual prison and take the first step into a new world of astonishing possibilities.

The Quantum You: Very Small, but Oh, So Mighty!

Now that you understand all that, it’s time for your diploma (it’s in the mail!) and to be informed about an even deeper layer of physics, which is the quantum level of reality.

From its discovery of atoms as the “building blocks of matter,” science has gone on to discover subatomic properties of light, called particles and waves. It has been learned that light is not either a particle or a wave (the either/or clockwork model of reality), but that light is both a particle and a wave. This opened our realizations to an inclusive reality that is altered by the expectations of the observer.

As the probing into matter continued, we then discovered that instead of atomic building blocks as the elemental structure of creation, there were so many smaller particles that the term “elementary” had lost its meaning. Experimentation showed that matter was entirely changeable, that all particles are created from energy and can transmute into other particles. In other words, reality is not a solid construct made of matter, but reality is an interconnected web of energy that responds to the one who observes it.

And that’s not all. Particles are also waves because they are probabilities—unlike physical matter, such as an ocean wave. As probabilities, they do not represent the potential to become things, but rather, they exist as potential events.

Whew! Well, this means that there is no such thing as a thing, but rather, all things (I can’t refrain from using the word, even though things don’t exist!) are events, or interconnected, interchangeable paths that take form in manifest reality as events.

This interconnectedness of all things is exemplified by your body and all things in nature. Just as a cell within your body contains the encoding to make a new body, and just as a seed contains the entire tree, so it is that any one part of the universe contains the Whole. These are examples of the holographic model of existence, which arises from interconnectedness and was proposed by the physicist David Bohm. He theorized that the reality we experience arises from the undivided Whole of existence, which he calls the implicate order. The implicate order is a sea of interconnected energy…kind of a cosmic soup…and from this energetic soup arises our manifest, physical reality, or explicate order. This scientific thought is certainly paralleled in Eastern spiritual traditions and belies our Western mechanical concept of dualism, of “you” and “I”, of “us” and “them.”

―Which brings us back down to earth. There is an Ultimate Reality where the explicate part is not separate from the implicate Whole…and then there is the dual, physical reality that we have come to identify with while in explicate human form. These states of being—the Whole and the part—appear to be irreconcilable but in fact, they do not oppose each other.

Existence is not an either/or proposition, but an inclusive, complimentary state of being both. We are physical and we are spiritual; we are living inside of time and outside of it. We are mortal and immortal; as an individual entity we are apart from the Source and are inseparably one with it. We are the created event and the creator of the event, both the observed and the observer. Life is one huge paradox. It is an endless series of ands.

Reality does not consist of separate pieces of matter suspended against a void of dead nothing, all separated by membranes of skin or surface. Instead of being like a bubble floating on the water’s surface, you are both bubble and water. The form of the bubble is a temporary, explicate manifestation of the implicate order that is the water. And in a very real way, we are our brother’s keeper because we are each an explicate manifestation—an event!—arising out of the undivided order that is a unified field of Universal Consciousness.

 We are all One. The explicate manifestations of the physical realm are actually frequencies of existence in the transient form of matter. All of life is a vibration, or frequency emanating from this universal magnetic field; which many call God.

In reality, that so-called “heaven” you were told about is not a “place.” All states of being are a frequency! When you want to feel connected to the divine in your life, you simply have to deeply connect to the right frequency, which is the Divine love in your own heart.

You Have to Know Where You’re Going to Get There!

And guess what else? When Jesus said, “The Kingdom of Heaven is within you” he already knew about what we now call quantum Reality, he knew about frequency and about your unbreakable connection to the Divine. He knew you didn’t need anyone to lead you to God or to reconcile you to God, because there has never been a separation from God to begin with. The Unified Field is a Unified Existence between everything.

This is an accurate model of reality, but is a very foreign worldview to many people who remain trapped in old ideas and thus, stay confined within their spiritual jails.It is great irony that in a “modern” world where people take such great pride in their supposed knowledge that they are way behind the ancient and aboriginal peoples–whom they deem to be primitive–in their knowledge of reality as it truly is…and always has been.

Fortunately, there have been great minds who have tapped into spiritual guidance and higher awareness to develop great inventions when it was not looked upon favorably or with proper curiosity by the masses of ignorant people who professed to know. Mahlon Loomis, (see Part One of this series) was one of those rare and gifted individuals who was far ahead of his time.His invention of wireless communication was a first peek into the realm of interactive, unseen energies and a very early forerunner of modern discoveries in advanced physics.

So on those occasions that you hear someone make fun of all things that are “different” to what they think they know, or to all things spiritual (sometimes in the name of all things religious!) you are free to have an open mind and a loving heart. Because now, you know that Reality is far more than most people see because they have their eyes wide shut.

Spiritual communication, psychic ability, inspired inventions, energetic healing, Spirit Guides, alternate realities, and a host of other spiritually-connected experiences are not only possible, they are inevitable. Spirit, frequency, energy…this is the substance and foundation of material life. Now, you know!  With eyes wide open, you can walk your path in life with power and purpose. All you have to do is choose it.

In the words of our Lakota brothers and sisters, “May you walk the white road of the good heart”, and may you come to know the truths that have been hidden from you for so long. Only when you walk in your own truth and from your own heart, can you really know where you are going. Then, this amazing and sacred journey of life will truly belong to you.

Spiritual Reality: Why Millions of People Deny its Existence

This Post is a Continuation from Part One: On Telephones, UFO’s & Spirit Guides: Close Communication of the Spiritual Kind

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleHow is communication with Spirit possible? Are there energetic portals that connect us to other-worldly beings? Are there portals to other times and even, to other dimensions? We just need to open our minds to either ancient metaphysical teachings or modern quantum physics to find some answers to these important questions.

Contrary to what you may have heard, the reality of spiritual communication is not a fringe topic for the “tin-foil hat” crowd. Spiritual communication is spiritual science. It’s also physics taken to the quantum level and beyond, to metaphysics. It is an energetic exchange between consciousnesses that does not require a physical body to communicate.

But before we can begin to understand and accept spiritual communication, we have to know about the existence of unseen energy: what it is and how it works. We also need to know why this information is not widely available and why it’s not open for serious discussion in the mainstream. Until we understand those two related subjects, we may not give serious credence to a black-listed topic that has long been the object of derision and ridicule by the majority of people who call themselves rational.

Once we know what obstacles we have to overcome when we want to find truth–and how we get in our own way by adopting the beliefs we’ve inherited from others–we can discover truth. In this case, you’re interested in the truth about spiritual guidance and contact with spiritual energies. So to discover this for yourself, you have to be an intellectual and spiritual rebel and not a cookie-cutter cut-out.

So, are you ready to be a rebel?  Let’s find out then, what’s been standing in your way.

The Need for Heresy to Find Truth

Most great truth and powerful discovery had heretical beginnings. Sometimes it was just too fantastic and ahead of its time to believe, as with the discovery of wireless communication by Mahlon Loomis. His incredible discovery enabled long-distance communication between living people that changed the world.

Imagine what the knowledge about spiritual communication would do! It would create a world-wide revolution that would redefine reality as we now know it. Everything would change, because:

  • People would realize their inter-connectedness with other beings in the universe;
  • People would have awareness of their greater eternal existence;
  • The pervasive deceptions that hold us in bondage would no longer control us;
  • Our absorption in the acquisition of things and money and having power over others would come to an end;
  • War would cease;
  • Opportunistic exploits and oppression of the vulnerable would end;
  • Political domination would fall;
  • People would begin to govern themselves in harmony.

The human race would become truly free, spiritually healed, and joyfully united. It would be the beginning of an Age of Light, and an end to the Age of Darkness.

Who doesn’t want that? You do. I do. But there are those who have everything to lose if things change and so they don’t want people to know the truth about spiritual reality. These are the ones in power who profit from exploit. These are forces that have been in control of civilization for a long time; and through multiple mechanisms, from behind the scenes, they set the board and move the pieces.

Consider, just for a moment, that there is a cosmic game afoot designed to keep human beings ignorant of the truth that will set them free. It’s a game that those with big power love to play; it’s a most extreme sport, and they play it very hard.

They play it to win.

And when they win, humanity loses.

Just look around you. This is why the world is in chaos and despair, in spiritual poverty and deepening darkness. This is why “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” This is why we need the knowledge that saves. But it won’t be an easy transition because old ideas die slowly and they die hard.

Humanity is in need of unabashed heresy against the mass beliefs that have brought us to the edge of catastrophe. But don’t wait for the next person to lead the way, because heresy means big change and it takes a great deal of courage to go against powerful superstitions and prevailing beliefs. Heresy must start with each truth seeker, often standing alone for a time, willing to endure whatever ridicule or abuse that comes, knowing that truth will eventually prevail.This is how mass belief evolves: certain, special people must step up to oil the rusted gears of forward thought.

I ask you to recall what happened to Galileo, as I wrote in the last post, On Telephones, UFO’s & Spirit Guides: Close Communications of the Spiritual Kind, and remember how many generations passed before his discoveries were accepted and became widely known. Remember how the preeminent political/religious power

of his day, the Catholic Church, controlled what people were allowed to know, think, read, talk about, and believe. Today, almost 400 years later, the sociopolitical landscape has shifted, but the plan to control our philosophy continues and thus, our human bondage to group-think has not changed over time.

Slow to Change: Society’s Group-Think about the Nature of Reality and Spiritual Existence

Most people don’t understand the absolute reality of spiritual realms because they, their parents and grandparents grew up under the assumptions imposed by the 300 year-old Newtonian scientific model of physics, as discovered by Issac Newton. This model of reality said that things are made of matter and nothing but matter. For most people this continues to be a comforting view of reality because it teaches that everything in the universe works mechanically. It says that effect follows cause and that things follow a sequence, such as either/or; left side, right side; before or after; good or bad. It asserts that reality boils down to solids, to what is predictable and what is physical. It is a three-dimensional viewpoint in the strictest sense, where time is linear, where everything is matter and all must be explainable by the laws of mechanics in order to be real.

Old Newtonian physics is where our modern, “practical” assertions come from. From this limited understanding of reality, our “prove-it-to-me” attitudes and materialistic inclinations have taken their strongest defense. And since very few people can see the spiritual realms, those who cannot see, touch, taste or smell want solid proof of a reality that is not solid, not linear, and not bound by time or our bodily senses.

And because many people’s minds are programmed with old beliefs, the doubters out there don’t seek an education about the new findings of science or test it by conducting their own experiments. Had Mahlon Loomis been that way, instead of sending wireless signals to communicate with each other, we could still be sending notes delivered by horseback…or sending smoke signals…or flashing mirrors in the sunlight.

And while we have terabytes of computing power, we are still in the Stone age with our spirituality because most people are uninformed about the science (upon which all that computing power is based, by the way) that substantiates there is more to life than meets the eye. We are stuck between the old science that most modern people believe in, and the new science they don’t know about.

And why are people not openly educated about the cutting edge of science that has spiritual–not religious– implications? Because current power structures that manipulate common beliefs are not eager to acknowledge new truths which would make them irrelevant. Why? Because once again, new ideas threaten to bring down the old paradigms and threaten those who profit from a power establishment that was built on old and limiting ideas.

And it’s not just church and state that combines to blockade public awareness. It’s the ivory tower of science itself, with its internecine wars and corrupted motives, with its high priests in lab coats or those who lecture at the holy podium of scientific certainty. As we have learned from history, scientists who pioneer new discoveries often experience opposition and ridicule from their colleagues who have a lifetime invested in the inner sanctum of old science. Many scholars have careers invested in old science; they have diplomas based on old science; they get their income from old science, and so…new science be hanged.

The problem of being branded a heretic, as it turns out, is not limited to religion.

Disappointing, isn’t it? You count on science and education for objective facts when in fact, neither is as unbiased–nor as pure–as you’ve been led to believe.

Scientific advancement has not always been so contaminated by power and money. Remember Albert Einstein? Einstein’s discoveries went far beyond Newtonian physics and created a new model of reality for mankind to fathom.

This was many years ago, and still, relatively few human beings are open and willing to consider the possibilities of an expanded reality shown by Einstein’s findings. And that’s not all they’re missing: Einstein’s break-through has since been superseded by even greater discoveries that reveal a reality very different from Newton’s mechanical, clockwork universe, which is the reality most people have come to believe in.The world needs a grassroots breakthrough in its understanding of what Reality is and how it operates. That is why you are here on this page.

In the next post, we will take a look at what, exactly, new science shows us about the Greater Spiritual Reality that you cannot see with your physical eyes. This will help you know how “Close communication of the Spiritual Kind” happens to you all the time, if you’ll allow yourself to “hear” the call. Then you can free yourself to “phone” your Spiritual Guides…to call Heaven…to talk with Spirit…and to know the Divine, without “help” from any another human who puts on his (or her) pants the same way you do!

You won’t easily find this critical and accurate information elsewhere, so be sure to keep in close communication with MySpiritCare! Until our next post, may peace and a heart that hungers for truth be with you.

On Telephones, UFO’s and Spirit Guides: Close Communications of the Spiritual Kind

My Spirit Care, 25 Years of Psychic and Spiritual Advice for Thousands of PeopleWhen your telephone rings or your cell phone sings, someone is at the other end of the light pipe, wanting to communicate with you. When you want to talk to someone at a distance, all you have to do is dial their phone number and wait a few seconds for them to answer. If they don’t answer, you can leave a voice message. Nifty, huh?

Of course it hasn’t always been this easy. In your progenitor’s day, the Pony Express and the telegraph revolutionized the world of communications. What was a miraculous invention for our forebears would be torturously slow to us! Our lives are entirely structured around high speed communications. We are so dependent on advancing technologies,  society would unravel without it. ―Remember that huge panic a few years back when the Blackberry fell off its wireless vine?

And I’ll bet you don’t know who invented wireless technology…the person who gifted you with instant communication. And once you find out the real truth about this person unnamed in history books, you’ll also discover some fascinating facts about the spirit world, as well.

As you are about to discover, communications, consciousness, light, the brain, Spirit, and the Spirit World all share a common gateway, a port of connectedness that is constantly interacting with our daily lives. More than any technology we believe we need, this Life Force energy is what holds everything together, and we truly could not exist without it.

But first…let’s travel back in time for a secret fact and an amazing story…

Marconi Didn’t, so Don’t Say He Did

The year was 1866. In a small West Virginia mountain town, a dentist and ingenious inventor
named Mahlon Loomis was very busy stringing copper wire in trees and other unlikely places. Dr. Loomis was the first and true inventor of wireless communication, before G. Marconi (the credited inventor) was even born. While that’s another historical fact that needs to be set right and another historical deception where attribution was given to the wrong person, suffice it to say that Dr. Loomis was the brilliant inventive genius way ahead of his time and the true inventor of wireless communication.

But that’s not the most fascinating fact about Mahlon Loomis. Things get very interesting when we also consider that his scientific discoveries were tangentially connected to otherworldly and off-planet communications. Dr. Loomis gathered his inventive information by speaking with a Spirit Guide named Francis. Further, his inventions touch upon time travel and even…UFO entry into our 3rd dimensional space. Not surprisingly, his invention was high-jacked by the U.S. Navy for military use and Dr. Loomis was never credited for his invention, nor was he financially compensated. Only a few insignificant items that belonged to Loomis remain with the Smithsonian. Most all of his equipment and documentation about his work vanished without a trace, including his diary in which he documented not only his scientific findings, but the metaphysical perspective he gained through contact with his Spirit Guide.

Those of you who read these posts are spiritual seekers. You are open-minded individuals who may even be closet-believers in things spiritual, not religious. But for the mainstream of society, contact with spirit guides is derided as “fringe” behavior and a belief in spirit guides as a fringe belief. All the while, these same people benefit from communication technologies that only fifty years ago would have been considered impossible. Why is it so hard, then, for these same people to consider that there might be a spiritual technology that they, themselves, find unbelievable and fantastic because they have not yet discovered it?

Fast to Condemn, Slow to Change

The subject of human resistance to changing belief paradigms is a post unto itself. For the moment, it’s sufficient to point  out that entrenched beliefs and widespread ignorance parade across the stage of human history, all dressed up in the robes of arrogant “knowing”.

–Which brings me briefly to Galileo. In 1633 Galileo was persecuted by the Catholic Church for his discovery that the earth revolves around the sun. Church leaders condemning him said, “The doctrine that the earth is neither the center of the universe nor immovable, but moves even with a daily rotation, is absurd, and both psychologically and theologically false, and at the least an error of faith.” Having been convicted of heresy and under threat of horrendous torture before being executed, Galileo recanted his scientific findings. While his decision to deny the truth spared his life, the Church imprisoned him in solitary confinement for the remainder of his days. Two hundred years passed, and in 1835 the Catholic Church finally took the writings by Galileo from its banned book list, long after his orbiting earth theory had been proven correct by Issac Newton. It took about 360 years for the Church to fully admit its error: in 1992 Pope John Paul begrudgingly apologized for Galileo’s wicked persecution.

Now, let’s get back to Mahlon Loomis.

Many of us know that the most innovative technology has a history of being snapped up by the powerful interests rather than being made available to the population-at-large. Long after Dr. Loomis’ records came up missing, it is most intriguing that the U.S. government utilizes practically the same location for satellite transmissions that Dr. Loomis used when he launched the world’s first wireless communication from a West Virginia mountaintop. The Etam satellite communication station in Etam, West Virginia processes over half of all international satellite communications and functioned as the world’s first earth-based communications relay system that gathered the signals from America’s first space craft and their astronauts before relaying them to Ground Control in Houston.

So while Dr. Loomis was maligned as a crackpot by many in his time, it turns out that in our day the same geographic area in which he conducted his wireless experiments is now used as a ground station for off-planet communications.

And all of this–our modern wireless and satellite communications– started with a genius inventor and a Spirit Guide named Francis.

Yes, We Can (And Do) Communicate with Spirit!

How is communication with Spirit possible? Are there energetic portals that connect us to other-worldly beings? Are there portals to other times and even, to other dimensions?

One needs only to open themselves to either ancient metaphysical teachings or modern quantum physics to get some answers to those very important questions.

In our next post, we will explain the physics of spirit communication and take a peek into the realm of spiritual science. Stay tuned and keep your antennae right here, on MySpiritCare!
